About the NHS COVID Pass service

You can now get proof of your coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination details using the NHS COVID Pass service.

If you have full access to the NHS App, and are registered at a GP surgery in England, you can view and share your COVID Pass for event trials and travel abroad.

Some countries may also ask for a negative COVID-19 test result. Always check the entry requirements for the country you're visiting before you book your travel. There is step by step travel advice on GOV.UK.

If you do not have full access to the NHS App, you can still get your COVID Pass for event trials in England.

To get your COVID Pass:

  1. Log in to the NHS App
  2. From the homepage select Get your NHS COVID Pass
  3. Follow the instructions on the screen

For more information on the NHS COVID Pass service, visit the NHS COVID Pass for travel and events page on the nhs website.

Who can get a COVID Pass

For more information about who can and who cannot get a COVID Pass, visit the demonstrating your COVID-19 status page on GOV.UK.

COVID Pass security

When you access your COVID Pass in the NHS App you will use NHS login. NHS login has advanced security features to protect you and minimise any risk of fraud.

Your COVID Pass displays only the details needed to create your COVID-19 status and no other personal health records.
