We have changed how we talk about accessing certain NHS services online. We now call this logging in to your NHS account, whether you use the NHS App or the NHS website to do this. The services we offer have not changed.
An NHS COVID Pass shows your coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination details or test results. This is your COVID-19 status.
If you have full access to your NHS account, using the NHS App or the NHS website, and are registered at a GP surgery in England or the Isle of Man, you can view and download your COVID Pass for travel abroad.

Some countries may also ask for a negative COVID-19 test result. Always check the entry requirements for the country you're visiting before you book your travel. There is step by step travel advice on GOV.UK.
To get your COVID Pass:
- Log in.
- From the homepage select NHS COVID Pass.
- Follow the instructions on the screen

COVID Pass security
When you access your COVID Pass in your NHS account you will use NHS login. NHS login has advanced security features to protect you and minimise any risk of fraud.
Your COVID Pass displays only the details needed to create your COVID-19 status and no other personal health records.
