As a patient I struggle to get through to the surgery amd when I did, on this occasion. I was met by a Gp saying that I could only talk about one issue. Despite me explaining that the kidney issues I ended up in A&E abut a week ago (the delay due to the e consult process) was likely due to my diabetes. And that the hospital had highlighted that I had high blood pressure. But he maintained that I should “pick one” to discuss and book another appointment “if I needed it”. There was no discussion about my high blood sugar (ver 24) after I said that the high blood pressure was my biggest worry.I find it concerning that a GP could hear this and not discuss this. Terrible service and lacking patient care from my perspective.

My daughter attended the Waterlooville Branch out of hours service yesterday. She and I were listened too, she had a thorough examination and was made to feel at ease. I was given clear guidelines about observations, urine test results. What to do to support her to get better and also what to do if she doesn’t improve. She was concerned a little about her urine test so we were advised to do another urine sample in a week for our doctors. Such a lovely doctor who cared, took time to listen, put us both at ease and did a thorough examination. Thank you 🙏

myself and husband both attended for our covid jabs the staff are friendly and efficient we were both seen quickly and i also was given my pneumonia jab as it wasn’t up to date.

Good experience having a blood test with a full explanation as to why the different samples were taken all done with a courtesy and friendly manner

Can never get an appointment, service awful. Health isn’t taken seriously. Needs to be investigated and really looked into how this surgery and care has gone so down hill. Shouldn’t be so difficult to get medical help when it’s needed. I had great difficulty in getting my appointment and still didn’t get much support or answered when I was finally seen.

I went to the Stakes Lodge Surgery for my appointment with the Nurse. She was very courteus and proceeded to assess my Blood Pressure problems very professionally. She has provided a procedure and future appointment for further assessment, and to decide if I require medication to deal with my problem. I look forward to my next appointment and will endeavour to follow the procedure diligently. Thank you.

Was seen on arrival just before appointment time..reception was happy an greeted nicely ..nurse was speedy taking sample and didnt bruise me...everyone i saw was very polite was in and out in under 5 minuites...great service this day

I requested an appointment to see a GP on a Monday about digestive issues I've been having for a while. They gave me an appointment for Thursday of that week - I appreciated I could be seen reasonably quickly. The GP I saw was very attentive and friendly. After explaining my issues, I was given a comprehensive set of tests to rule out anything serious and was given a treatment plan to improve my issues in the meantime. Everything was explained to me clearly during the appointment and I felt much better about dealing with my health issue going forward.
