Had a blood test. No waiting. Kind phlebotomist. Quickly, painlessly done. Result through in a couple of days.

The understanding and no judgmental way the practitioner saw me How supportive she was On the other hand trying to get an appointment took some time felt a bit like jumping through hoops Also trying to get repeat prescription when the medication needs reviewing

I wasn't informed in advance of what the blood test was for nor have I been informed why a blood test was requested. When it came to the actual blood test the health care worker was polite and took care but struggled to get the blood. I have not normally had a problem with the taking of blood samples. I have had no follow up on the results although I have accessed these using the NHS App

Thank you for your comments, I am sorry you are unhappy with the service. As you have submitted this review anonymously, I am unable to look in to things for you. However, I can say that our new telephone system makes it incredibly easy to get hold of the surgery in order for you to sort these things. Please don't call for a general enquiry such as this at peak times which is generally between 8am and 10am then 1pm and 2.30pm each day.

Not always easy to get appointments but I used econsult and then as I work from home I was able to come in with little notice. Once in, everything was fine.

Waiting room was not overcrowded, plenty of free seats and well spaced out. The appointment happened on time. The healthcare professional consulted (and reception staff) were all friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

First time at the surgery, appointments well organised and on time, results appeared quickly on the NHS portal with explanation of why I needed to increase meds and a call to confirm the change in meds, great service and better than my previous GP service elsewhere
