I got a same day appointment, the receptionist was really helpful and the nurse was there waiting for me. I didn't even have the need to sit down

Thank you for your comments, I am sorry you are unhappy with the service. Having looked at your records, it seems that you were registered to one local pharmacy which seems to have stopped accepting requests. In instances such as this, your new chemist is able to change your nominated pharmacy on your request, or you would need to come in to the surgery to change it. It does seem that our team reacted quickly and efficiently to ensure you were able to get your prescription. I am glad to see this is sorted now and going forward there should be no further issues.

The nurse was exceptionally empathetic and supportive and was clearly seeking the best support for me. However, the reason why I sought help and treatment was that I have been experiencing excruciating neck pain for at least 3 months. Except for a referral to a physiotherapist which I have not yet seen, this pain was not investigated. I was disappointed that the GP did not at least come into the room to check my neck and try to find the cause for the pain. If you look at my record you will see that I very seldom make GP appointments as I often feel that I don't want to waste your time. However on the occasion that I did seek help, I was very dissapointed

Thank you for your comments, I am sorry you are dissatisfied with the service. The Advanced Nurse Practitioner that you saw is specialist in her field and whilst she works alongside the GP, knows and understands the correct pathways for treatment. In this case, the pathway that she has given is the correct one. A Physiotherapist is absolutely the correct person to help you as they are more specialist in your particular problem and are able to help more than a GP would. They are part of our multi-disciplinary team that we have in the surgery in order to bring new ways of care. We do not offer different levels of care depending on how much you contact the GP and every patient is treated with the same respect and compassion. If you would like more information about how the practice works, please see the video on our website.

I was informed by the surgery about a vaccination I didn't know I needed and was given a very prompt appointment with the nurse. Quick and efficient.
