Review titled Quick response with an in person appointment
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Tamara Whipp - Posted on 16 April 2025
I was very impressed with how quickly I got to see a Doctor. The issue was one which couldn’t justify a same day appointment so I completed the screening form describing symptoms.

Arrived on agreed time and we were attended straight to vaccination room by two very pleasant ladies. It is ridiculous that review needs to be more than 100 words. quote The review must be between 100 and 3000 characters in length. unquote

Review titled Very Bad
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Sally Parrott - Posted on 17 April 2025
I phoned for an appointment on Tuesday, was told I would be called back on Wednesday around 3:30. I explained I’d be at work and may not be able to take the call. She said she’d book me in anyway. I received a call at 2:15. Explained I was unable to talk at that time and requested a call either after 5 or the following day. I was hung up on with no confirmation other than my original call had been scheduled for 3:30. I have today received this request for feedback and have not actually had the phone call you want feedback on. I am still in pain and no further forward!

Review titled Lack of care
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 25 April 2025
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent telephone consultation I had regarding my health concerns. During the consultation, I was told that no further tests or actions were necessary. However, after researching the situation and considering my medical history, it is clear that several steps could have and should have been taken to properly assess my health. If my best interests were genuinely being considered, the following tests and actions should have been carried out: 1. Blood Tests: Basic panels to check for inflammation (Crp, Esr), white blood cell counts, and overall immune function. These are especially crucial given my use of corticosteroids, which can mask symptoms and increase my susceptibility to infections. 2. Liver and Kidney Function Tests: These are vital when using substances such as peptides, which are metabolized by these organs. Monitoring their function is essential to ensure safe use. 3. Hormonal Tests: Assessing testosterone, lh, Fsh, and cortisol levels would have been prudent, particularly since I’m using peptides. These tests help evaluate the impact on my endocrine system and overall well-being. 4. Vitamin and Mineral Levels: A check for deficiencies, particularly in vitamin D, magnesium, and b12, would have been important given their role in immune function, energy, and recovery. 5. Infection Monitoring: A throat swab or full blood count should have been performed, as my symptoms are consistent with strep throat or another infection. This would have helped to rule out any serious underlying issues. Instead, I was told that it is not possible to test someone using peptides, which is inaccurate. There are well-established methods to monitor levels and organ function in individuals using substances like peptides, regardless of whether they are prescribed. The reality is that the reluctance to proceed likely stems from the fact that peptides are not officially prescribed, rather than any medical limitations. I now find myself in a position where I must seek private healthcare, which is something I should not have to do simply to receive appropriate care. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter further and provide clarification on the testing options available. My goal is to ensure my health is properly monitored, especially while using peptides and corticosteroids.

Review titled Excellent all round

by Colin - Posted on 10 April 2025
Today I arrived at the practice 10 minutes early. I was called into the surgery within 2 minutes of arrival by a cheerful nurse who completed the procedure within a very short time with no pain or discomfort. I was out of there within 10 minutes with a cheery goodbye.

Review titled Helpful
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Pamela Hawkins - Posted on 12 April 2025
I visited the Doctors after my blood test results came back, although I had to wait a little while for an appointment because the GP I wanted to see was on leave at the time, but I was soon seen after that. We talked about my results which were negative, but spoke about ways to help with my symptoms. I also had an unrelated problem which was looked at and prescribed some medication to help with that. I always find this Doctor a very kind and engaging, who always listens to any problems I have. I would highly recommend anyone to see her. Thank you.

Review titled Medication Review
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Lois Caplin - Posted on 13 April 2025
One of the pharmacists called me last week to do a medication review - I have been taking this medication for 22yrs but the pharmacist didn’t appear to have read my notes and assumed I was taking it for a different medical condition so I needed to correct her. She was obviously working from home on the day she called me as the call was interrupted twice by a child demanding her attention. This led to her noting down my response to a question incorrectly and again she needed to be corrected. I found the call patronising (asking me if I know why I’m taking the medication!) and a waste of time to be honest and consider it to be very unprofessional being interrupted by a child whilst discussing my medical condition & therefore noting down incorrect information before being corrected.
