Prescriptions clerk is always very helpful and also booked a separate appointment for me rather than me having to call up again to speak with another staff member. I have found it difficult to get appointments in the past but I feel this surgery has massively improved recently as both my kids have been seen the same day I called in January, were seen on time.

No appointments available, no ways to complain, wouldn't give me an appointment even though I had a mole that had changed. You simply can't get appointments or help.

I would like to say thank you to all the staff at ossett surgery for been so helpful and professional. Doctor booked me in for a scan at pinderfields hospital and I got a phone call the following day to go back and see the doctor about results brilliant service. I find all the staff at ossett surgery go above and beyond thankyou .

Overall the phone booking service is very good. The people answering the phone are pleasant and understanding. The doctors are usually excellent. I am very pleased with this surgery.

I'd had a heart attack without knowing and I was told to go straight to A&E where I was admitted onto the coronary ward. After receiving life saving treatment at hospital I had to go back to Ossett Surgery to discuss my ongoing treatment. I was given a very warm welcome by the same GP. I cannot recommend them enough.

The staff are so helpful, kind and considerate. I have always found them to go above and beyond to try and sort things out. On the downside the practice needs to make available more appointments as it’s near impossible to get one. I would give the staff 100% and the surgery 50%

It is a pleasure to hear that you find all the staff helpful, kind and considerate. I am sorry to hear that you have found it difficult to get an appointment. We do wish it was as simple as just creating more appointments however, there are various pathways we are introducing and implementing which will help with appointment capacity and availability. The introduction of a new phone system (due mid-October) and additional care navigation training for our reception team will assist in creating capacity and hopefully improve your experience of booking an appointment. So far having recently changed to this practice! Wow! What a great set up. Staff are friendly and reception always manned which at my last surgery there was always queues to book in. I struggled to see a doctor face to face at me last surgery but here not a problem. Thank you
