    Filled in enquiry form at 7-30 a.m requesting change of antibiotics. Did not receive a reply till 8-15 pm. Very disappointed I had to wait that long for a reply .

    Dear Duke, Thank you for taking the time to send us a review via the NHS Choices platform. Unfortunately, some days can be busier than others and the duty doctor will triage all forms coming through on the day. The appointments will be managed and triaged in order of urgency and shared with the doctors who are on duty that day. However, duty doctor may need to contact the patient themselves and this could be anytime up to 8pm at night depending on the volume of requests received.     As always staff are brilliant, helpful and professional. This has been my experience on many occasions especially recently since I had my stroke. What lets you down is the clunky and obfuscatory process for online communication. Half the links don’t work and the options are way too limited. For example when I tried to contact you with concerns after my stroke and put the word’stroke’ as the concern the website didn’t recognise stroke was a possibility. Really? It is so difficult to leave a message. I understand that you are busy but I feel that there should be a way to leave a non urgent message without having to fight to get one of the small number of 7.30am available spaces. When it appears that you are actively trying to dissuade or prevent patients from making contact it does damage the therapeutic alliance.

    Although having to wait a full week to see the GP, he listened attentively to my mental health issues and concerns and printed off the necessary documents to support my Personal Independence Payments claim.

    Finding it easier to get a appointment,diabetic team ontop of my health issues.Smallest of small issues with my prescriptions being late,but that is it. With my longterm health issues,id love too have the consistancy of seeing the same doctor,so i dont have to replay my health issues over and over,and they can give me updates on things we discussed.Staff are really friendly,and seems contacting the surgery by phone has become easier.

    I have had a few medical issuess over the last 12 months, the service I have received from the Doctors and Nurses at ngp has been first class. I find the on-line booking system works for me, no more waiting on the phone or having to turn up at the practice for 08:00 hrs . Keep up the good work.

    Was booked in for a blood test appointment recently and I got the whole detailed result with the GP having a long conversation on the phone with me to explain and advice me on how to keep myself and health safe. I couldn’t be more than thankful for having such a great practice. Please keep up the good work. God bless you all at Northenden group practice.
