I received an e mail inviting me to attend seated Pilates sessions ! As I have a slight disability I’m always looking for ways to exercise and I really enjoyed the session. . I will definately go again . Thank you Lea Wharf Medical

I am very happy with the service I receive from Lea Wharf. My ECONs are always responded to quickly and satisfactorily. My appointment yesterday was excellent. The doctor was kind and reassuring and nothing was too much for her. I thoroughly recommend this practice.

Excellent appointment. Lady listened and was very helpful. Good advice to help with my problem. As she was a diabetic nurse she understood everything.

I did an econsult this morning for a potential serious issue and by 11.35am I’d had a face to face appointment, examined by Dr and referral made.

I had a telephone appointment booked at 09.10 on 27 Feb to discuss blood test results. At 10.50 I was still waiting. I tried to call the surgery without success so sent a message via econsult. I received a phone call at 12.25 (over 3 hours after my appointment time) advising me that my appointment has to be rescheduled due to staff illness. I lost a morning’s work as couldn’t use my phone or engage in meetings as I was expecting a call. I managed to get an appointment for the following day! The doctor who called me had no knowledge about why the blood test was ordered or anything about my medical history/medication. She continued to give me relevant and significant result from a blood test taken in September 2023 saying it was from February 2025 and only corrected herself when I pointed out that this particular test had not been carried out in 2025. Thereafter she appeared to pay more attention to our call and the appointment proceeded satisfactorily. It is dissatisfied ting and frustrating not to have any continuity of care. The practice administration on the day of my original appointment was woefully unsatisfactory. Pre-Covid this surgery offered an excellent service. Please realise the pandemic is over and offer us proper face to face appointments with our doctors as we used to have.

Nice new building. Very friendly reception staff. Plenty of seating. Very clear notice board. Able to do self check in. Plenty of direction through to doctor rooms

I received a telephone consultation with one of the doctors and was impressed with the clarity of the conversation. All results were explained to me and further tests scheduled. It was very reassuring feedback! In addition I have always found the desk staff polite and courteous! They are always as helpful as the system allows them to be.
