They take good care of me. I am in constant need of a GP as I am on life support medication. The practice is very close and conveniently located. I rely on my practice for my health.

I got the appointment 15mins back and when i reached the GP 7mins late they cancelled my appointment stating I’m late but the day before I had an appointment and i waited for half n hour then they were ok. This is pathetic changing the rules as per there convenience and not considering the patients issue is not cool at all

Except that it takes ages to wait in a queue every time we ring to book an appointment. It is extremely frustrating having to wait for 30-40 minutes on average. Also you are advised to discuss only one problem per appointment if you succeed to get it. For multiple issues you would have to go through the same queuing process separately? I have been with this surgery for decades and it has provided me with invaluable service with staff showing care and support needed but the overall experience leaves you feeling unaccomplished somehow. Please devise another system to cater to these issues. You are already doing so much and so well, I would like to give you five stars. Help! :)

Dear Saima Many thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. We recognise the wait in the mornings on the phone can sometimes be too long and we're working on trying to improve this. Sadly we have to have the one issue per call rule as otherwise the waiting times would potentially be much longer. We try to deal with as many patients as possible and book in anyone who requires an appointment the same day. It's very challenging when there are 300+ calls coming in during this period. We have regular practice meetings to discuss current issues and to work on solutions, so we certainly appreciate your feedback and will continue to work on improvements to our systems. Prompt in approving repeat prescriptions. Very impressive. Everytime when I requested for my prescriptions, I always got the prescriptions approved on the same day. Thank you.

I have opportunities to visit the GP few times and I have noticed that even though it can be bit difficult to get appointments but when I get seen by the nurse or Dr they are very good listener however if you try to talk about two things they would ignore the second one as the appointment is only for one issue this is something I don’t like. One it’s difficult to get appointment second you can’t fully discuss your issues.

We're glad you have been happy with our clinical staff in your appointments - we pride ourselves on having a team which really listens to our patients and tries to understand fully their concerns. We understand it can be frustrating, especially when you have waited for an appointment, that we encourage you only to bring one medical issue to the consultation. Unfortunately if our clinicians were to deal with more than one issue at a time, our patients may end up waiting for longer for appointments in the first instance. We focus on as many patients as possible getting access to our clinicians, so that the practice caters for all. However, we are always working on new and improved ways of providing access, so that our patients have as much help from us as possible. Sometimes we run group sessions for example, and are currently providing webinars and social media content designed to give inform and educate where we can.
