Prompt in approving repeat prescriptions. Very impressive. Everytime when I requested for my prescriptions, I always got the prescriptions approved on the same day. Thank you.

I have opportunities to visit the GP few times and I have noticed that even though it can be bit difficult to get appointments but when I get seen by the nurse or Dr they are very good listener however if you try to talk about two things they would ignore the second one as the appointment is only for one issue this is something I don’t like. One it’s difficult to get appointment second you can’t fully discuss your issues.

We're glad you have been happy with our clinical staff in your appointments - we pride ourselves on having a team which really listens to our patients and tries to understand fully their concerns. We understand it can be frustrating, especially when you have waited for an appointment, that we encourage you only to bring one medical issue to the consultation. Unfortunately if our clinicians were to deal with more than one issue at a time, our patients may end up waiting for longer for appointments in the first instance. We focus on as many patients as possible getting access to our clinicians, so that the practice caters for all. However, we are always working on new and improved ways of providing access, so that our patients have as much help from us as possible. Sometimes we run group sessions for example, and are currently providing webinars and social media content designed to give inform and educate where we can. There is a limited window for booking appointments, primarily between 8-10 am, which can be challenging to get through. While they do offer an online service, their response to messages suggests a preference for patients to call between 8-10 am. Outpatient appointments are conducted by physician associates rather than doctors. The practice manager abruptly ended the call while I was explaining my health concerns, which was quite disrespectful. I do not recommend this practice.

We accept over 300 calls in the morning and try our best to give a same day face to face or phone appointment to everyone who needs it. Our physician associates are often the most appropriate clinicians to deal with many appointment types - If you would like to know more about them, do have a read further about their training and qualifications at our website https://hiyos.org/events/work/physician-associate/. Also they are always supervised by GPs. I'm starting cosmetology studies. One of the documents needed is a certificate that I do not have any allergies. An official letter from the university addressed to the gp with a request to sign/certify that I do not have such (allergies). GP refuses to sign! They do not provide such a service, I was told. They can't handle the simplest of things. Terrible, hopeless, unprofessional. Stay away!!

Hi there, Sorry to hear you're unhappy with our service. A medical report is usually outside the services provided by the NHS. That's not specific to Hiyos, it's all NHS practices. I called this morning to get a repeat prescription and they had it sorted a sent to my chosen pharmacy within minutes very happy with the service
