Review titled Poor Service
Rated 1 star out of 5

I called yesterday to get an extension of my fit note, only to be told they had no records of my current sickness, I had been taken by ambulance to Broad Green Heart hospital and diagnosed with pericarditis and signed off for 2 wks. I was told all i can get is a routine appointment in 10 days as no procedure was done and if the Dr agrees they will back date from 27/05

Review titled Excellent service
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I made an appointment regarding my left hip. The doctor was very professional in helping with my problem. He immediately went straight to the point in referring me for an xray and also gave me a walk in form so I could go sooner for the xray. He sent a prescription to the pharmacy to help with sleeping. As I don't like taking tablets, he gave good advice and sent me a text message with the tablet name so I could read up on it first and advised I didnt have to get the prescription If not wanted. Very pleased and excellent advice.

Review titled Always consistently positive
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I’ve been with Chapel for over 7 years now and have never had a bad experience. Each GP has a different strength, they’ve all shown compassion and empathy. Myself and our children have had great interactions with all of the GPs and locums, they’ve all made the correct referrals without issue, they have been incredibly supportive at very difficult periods of life and health and I’ve appreciated the service. The reception staff have always been professional and helpful in what I imagine can sometimes be a difficult position. They’ve seen us through the pandemic with care, the GPs have had such a kind approach with our children from them being tiny babies. The locum I saw yesterday was so informative on some of my worries and she looked at my issues with such a holistic approach it was refreshing, I appreciated her depth of knowledge and her ability to look at all aspects of my issues and not just what I was presenting on the day, it was impressive to have her prioritise my needs within the appointment but to also be proactive with her questions to gain all of the jigsaw pieces with all of the different perspectives so she could fully understand me and most of all she didn’t just prescribe, she asked me what I would like and we both agreed a plan considering the complexities. I continue to have a good relationship with the service as do our children, from nurses vaccinating the kids to more serious referrals and never being made to feel that my worries and health concerns are inferior I’m actually really grateful to have had a consistent and stable healthcare provider during the past 7 years considering the politics and pandemic. They are so quick off the mark with the children and we appreciate their sense of urgency and concern, the reception staff will always try their best to make sure the children are prioritised and advise so well. I’ve had it where if they need to consult the gp first they have maintained really good communication to get to the answer. I also feel that sometimes it’s a matter of you get out what you put in as a family we approach the service with kindness and dignity and we have received the same in return. Thank you for all of your hardwork, it is greatly appreciated certainly by our family.
