    I am extremely grateful for the care I have received. My doctor has been very helpful with my problems. I was phoned on time and further checks are being done. Reception staff always pleasant and helpful. These times are very hard and I appreciate the help I’ve been given.

    I wish to compliment your appointments staff for their excellent work and service. I had reason to make contact on three occasions in the past week and I spoke to three different members of the team who were absolutely amazing. They were professional and extremely kind and helpful from start to finish. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and they were all so pleasant to deal with. Extremely courteous and helpful. The team are a credit to the practice.

    I have been unable to order repeat prescription for weeks. I have now run out and still cannot order. Apparently, I had a review today, which I then got this feedback request for, despite not having seen or speaking to anyone.

    Completed a E Consult at midday, received a text saying my query had been read and to expect a phone the same or next day. This was received in just over 15 minutes. By 13:05 my doctor phoned and made an appointment to see me. The new E consult form is also so much friendlier to fill in. A great experience!!

    I had my appointment change to Mudge Way, but was given plenty of notice and offered an alternative time if required. The staff I had dealings with over the phone and at Mudge Way were friendly and helpful.

    I wanted to leave a review as sometimes making an appointment and seeing a Doctor has been a frustrating experience. I was pleasantly suprised that the online form seems have been updated since I last needed it and is easier to complete. I was seen promptly. The Dr was kind and reassuring. I could not fault my experience at Beacon this time. Thank you.

    We used to be with Glenside Medical Centre until they joined Beacon. Since then it seems we, as patients, have to fight for anything resembling a decent service. Prescriptions are indicative. Items are removed from repeat without any communication. This means when trying to use the NHS app the first you become aware is when you cannot request a repeat, a simple email on removal would allow patients to arrange their reviews without running out of medication. Then you get stuck in a loop trying to renew them with medication reviews for different drugs going to different GPs, none of whom seem to communicate with each other or take into account the Patients deadline fro running out. The Beacon website tells you to expect 7 days for a repeat to be issued and then another 7 days for the pharmacy to dispense - the only industry where a move to digitise has slowed things considerably. Even if that were not the case, the NHS app does not allow that long in advance to order! The administrative staff try their best but are clearly working in a system that has left patient care far, far behind. Running out of some medication leaves you feeling dreadful and potentially puts health at risk. Trying to speak with, or God forbid see, a GP is a non starter. In short communication is non existent, the owners of the practice no longer appear to care and are no longer visible, and living in Plympton we have virtually no choice to move elsewhere. Sadly, after the amazing service we used to receive from Glenside I don’t know anyone locally who believes the Beacon service is anyway close to being comparable.

    I have had several experiences with The Surgery and every time, I have been treated with respect, Care and patience. Always with a good outcome, whether that a prescription question and help due to illness. The latest experience, I completed a online request for a bad cough that was showing colour of infection and I got phone back from Practice nurse same day.
