    I saw my registered GP for the first time. She was very kind, polite and thorough. I felt like the appointment was relaxed, she explained things very well and was reassuring too. I’ve experienced other practices in the past where you feel rushed or not taken seriously, but this is definitely not the case here. Thank you!

    My doctor was very helpful and thorough and kind. Had follow up calls after my treatment. Nothing is too much trouble for him . Have been with my doctors for approximately 48yrs and always been treated very well.

    When will Beacon Medical Centre open up its doors again? I’ve not seen a doctor since before Covid, not only that it’s so hard communicating with a iPad in the middle of a waiting room! I’m a pretty savvy 70 year old, goodness knows it must be so difficult for the very elderly. Even harder trying to phone, the receptionist are so lovely, & doctors do phone back eventually. But it’s not the same as a face to face appointment, something needs to be changed. And I’ve been will this surgery for over 40 years!

    I rang the surgery and the call was picked up on the automated system. I was third in the queue but the call was answered within a minute. The receptionist listened to my concerns and said that a member of the medical team would contact me. I had a text message telling me of the next steps within 3 hours. Then my prescription was issued to my local Boots store. So within 6 hours of speaking the the surgery, I had a prescription in my hands. Very pleased with the outcome.

    Whilst on holiday in the far east, I had diarrhea, an allergic reaction to food I'd eaten, after consulting ships doctor, blood tests revealed very high levels. Upon returning to uk, I put all this in an econsult. I have been very impressed with the speed and efficiency of the service I have received from my GP, both physically seeing me in the surgery and also arranging all the necessary tests. The blood results were uploaded very quickly to my NHS app and I received a text from the doctor letting me him his initial thoughts. I have received this morning a text from my doctor saying I have a gallstone ans thickening of my gallbladder wall and he recommended me to have another blood test in 2 weeks to check the levels were still coming down. I would like to speak to the doctor, to find out what needs to be done about the gallstone ans thickening gallbladder wall and how I can be tested to find out what I am actually allergic to, so that I can avoid it in future. Apart from this, I have been very impressed with the service I have received. It is much appreciated.

    I recently used the on line booking service and the provision of providing rrsult feedback and the addition of more medication, the aevice was easy and simple to use, the only part I think which could be speeded up is the return in the response of a consultation between the practice and recipient, the time was 2 weeks in which not great for a response for an appointment which in theory you have no control over, other than that a great service by the practice and all the various practioners doctors and staff.
