Checking your COVID-19 vaccine record

You can access your COVID-19 vaccine record in the NHS App if you are aged 16 or over. The NHS App will not have a record of COVID-19 vaccinations you had done privately.

Once logged in, go to Your health and then select Check your COVID-19 vaccine record.

If your record is wrong or missing information

Your COVID-19 vaccine record could be wrong or missing information because:

  • your last dose of the vaccine was given in the last 5 working days and your record has not yet been updated
  • you were vaccinated outside of England – this service is for people who have been vaccinated in England
  • you had your vaccination as part of a clinical trial
  • you had your vaccination done privately – the NHS cannot record COVID-19 vaccinations you have had done privately
  • your vaccine record may not have been updated correctly

Correcting or updating your record

If you think your vaccine record is missing or wrong, you should contact the site where you had your COVID-19 vaccine. Ask them to update your COVID-19 vaccine record.

You’ll need to contact your GP surgery if you want to update your COVID-19 vaccine record and either:

  • the site where you had your COVID-19 vaccine has closed
  • you had your COVID-19 vaccine more than 365 days ago
  • you have more than one NHS number
  • you have had or are planning to have gender reassignment

Only contact your GP surgery if you had an NHS COVID-19 vaccination.

If you would like evidence that you had a private COVID-19 vaccination, contact the provider you had it with.

Problems with loading your record

If you see the message "Login failed" or another error message, try logging out of the app, then back in again.

You may need to try accessing the service again later.
