My wife phoned many times during the day, all calls unanswered. She then visited the pharmacy to collect her prescription having to wait a long time. Whilst there she could hear the phone continually ringing, but left unanswered. She purchased other items too, one of which had an item missing. I then phoned and had to wait a long time for any answer. In fairness the lady who answered my call was polite and helpful, however I had to return there to collect my missing item, which never left me feeling very amused.

Whenever I phone nobody bothers to answer, Today I have spent45 minutes on the phone but it has not been answered. This not an isolated case but the norm, on speaking to Hadwen Healthcare and my nurse they have same problem. Suggest that phone calls should be answered promptly and an answering phone/email be introduced. The call I tried to make today was between 19.50 and 20.30 when I thought they may be quieter than during the day. I was trying to get information on a request for compression which was sent to them on 1dec. These items are desperately needed to relieve pain.

Without a doubt the worst pharmacy I have ever used, I did get all my medication from there up until a year ago, I am a diabetic, and was constantly missing items or delayed, and had to wait up to 10 days on occasions to get my medication, to top it all I went to get some Night Nurse for my wife who had a very bad cold or flu, and was asked if I could be more specific about my wife’s symptoms, I replied bad cold/flu and as I was not a Dr I could not be more specific as it was not me, she was not on any other Medication, but he refused to sell me it as I was not specific, we are both in our 60’s and I thought Pharmacies we’re supposed to be helpful places, not this one

It takes 3 days from requesting a prescription to pick up but I wait 5 days. Items are still missing. Counter staff are rude and surly and ignorant at best. This is the worse pharmacy. You queue like cattle outside in this day and age. After COVID you would of thought they would of improved the collection method. Even the vets across the way treats its customers better.

Sunday Times are 16.00 to 20.00 not the ones advertised. I had to wast my time and fuel twice on Sunday, due to rowng times advertise on your website.

they donald deliver meds on time.besides,they change my meds to cheaper or substytutem ones which are harmful to me, Iim wery dissatisfied.

There’s always a huge queue. For those of us who need to get back to work or are caring for someone who cannot be left long, this is stressful. The late opening hours advertised online don’t seem to be adhered to. The staff are not particularly helpful once you eventually get to speak to someone. They never answer the phone and the home delivery service takes about ten days to a fortnight. All in all, not fit for purpose in serving such a large community. Prices for over the counter are high too. Will be asking my surgery to remove this as my nominated pharmacy. Avoid it if you possibly can.

Had a prescription sent over for my daughter she was extremely unwell and needed antibiotics, this was the only pharmacy open at the time of needing the medicine, I was served by the pharmacist and he was extremely rude from start to finish, he wouldn’t issue the prescription without my daughters nhs number which I didn’t have on me, I had a message on my phone stating the prescription was there waiting to be done he wasn’t interested in this at all and continued to ask for the nhs number, after going and getting the nhs number I was able to have the prescription made for me safe to say I will never use this pharmacy again

Review titled False information about opening hours

NHS 111 issued an urgent prescription on a Sunday and the opening hours for this pharmacy on NHS website ond on their board outside say Sunday 9am-8pm but it's 1pm and the pharmacy is closed!

Staff often fail to provide your entire prescription, or realise that a medicine needs to be made up before giving it to you, or realise that part of your prescription is kept in the fridge not on the shelf. This all leads to repeated visits which is very frustrating and inconvenient. Added to this the opening times keep changing and often does not match what it says online for example it currently says Sunday opening is 9am - 5:30pm only to find out when you try to visit that the opening times actually are 4pm-8pm!
