The staff is very rude and never answers at the phone. Elderly patients who rely on having their prescription delivered have been told they can walk down to collect... although they can barely walk and arrive to the chemist with a zimmer frame!! They will not accept submission of prescriptions anymore. When you are telling them you will go to Paydens then you are greeted with the statement we are bought by the same company now. So they will not do deliveries... or collection of prescriptions anymore as this is the new company's policy. They will not deal with prescriptions over the phone anymore as it is the new company policy as well. I personally witnessed a member of staff being rude to a 90yo! who walked all the way to the chemist to put their prescription in the prescription box ... which was removed and no longer exists. When the lady asked where can she put the prescription, the answer from the member of staff to the 90yo !! was to go to Minster or go online or send it by post to the GP practice! A 90yo with a Zimmer Frame and no idea of online technologies and most likely with no friends that they are able to assist her! She was visibly upset however there was no empathy from this company what so ever. What world do we live in?? Disgusting!
