   Three months ago I bought an antibiotic for an eye infection which cost me around £6 at this chemist. I asked a friend to pop in and purchase the same item again yesterday, and its price had gone up to £16,95. I queried this unwarranted increase on the phone, and was told that it was correct, that the manufacturers had increased its price enormously, and that I could not take it back. So to make sure the price had gone up in price everywhere, I looked up the item on the Internet and found the same item for about £9. So I can only assume that this chemist's mark up is grossly unfair, and obviously would hit those who need it but cannot easily afford it
