I attended my appointment yesterday and found the nurse to be very supportive and helpful, she helped to put my mind at ease over some issues that have been bothering me I would highly recommend this practice.

No long waiting period. Friendly staff. The digital technology of display the patient’s name and direction of the consultant room number I personally think it’s brilliant .

The doctor I saw is the only doctor to listen to what I had to say wish all doctors were as empathetic I came away with a positive attitude that at last I may get my life back and not struggle with my breathing

Review titled GP appointmemt
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Jill wood - Posted on 21 February 2025
Disappointing visit, the GP did not look at me while I explained why I asked for the appointment ,typed consistently I had to ask for her to actually look at knee which is still giving me pain and is swollen 2 weeks after a fall ,she seemed reluctant to offer an xray or treatment made me feel like it was too much trouble I explained I have concerns about several of my joints and my last xray was 3 years ago and I feel my condition has deteriorated. I was eventually offered an xray appointment so now waiting for this to come through

The physiotherapist gave me excellent advise on managing the arthritis in my left shoulder. She demonstrated the exercises very clearly. She had a friendly and reassuring approach.

I can’t thank the receptionist enough for getting me in short notice and the Dr that I saw was very kind and thorough with his advice. He listened to all my concerns

Review titled Excellent

I recently visited for my smear test - what an excellent nurse I had, who is new to the practice and had only being there a week - not only did she reassure me before the test she also listened regarding my menopause and it’s difficulties, the advice given was excellent - best practice at its best. She showed compassion, empathy, dignity and more importantly she listened and answered my questions and acted on my concerns.

Review titled Friendly Practise
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Sara Brown - Posted on 18 February 2025
I don’t use the doctors often but this last month I have visited twice. Once to see a doctor and once to see a nurse. Both times the staff have been very welcoming, professional and patient. The nurse especially who took the time to talk me through a procedure and definitely put my mind at ease. I’ve never had an issue getting an appointment and they always accommodate my working hours. Great surgery, great staff!

Review titled Prior warning needed
Rated 4 stars out of 5

Disappointed to only find out when I was seen by Practice Nurse that the Shingles vaccination that I was due to receive couldn't be given as they had run out and so would need to book another appointment in a couple of weeks time to get it then. Is compounded by the number of reminders I had sent to me on the run-up to my appointment to attend. However appointment was not a total waste of my time as I was offered (and was subsequently given) a pneumonia vaccination instead.
