    Call after call to make an appointment and no one answers the phone . Even the queuing system on the phone is rubbish . This has been the way for years and has not improved . We are in the 21st century surely there is a better way to get an appointment than spending hours on the phone waiting for it to be intentionally ignored or never being picked up, even after reaching 1 in the queue . Shockingly bad .. and has been for years ..

    Dear Mark, Thank you for leaving your feedback. At the Practice we do try and provide a high standard of Care and Treatment and I am sorry that this has not been your experience. We do record all incoming calls to all sites and I have checked our average call wait times for today. They do not seem to correspond with your experience but I would be happy to investigate further if you would like to provide more detail.     I recently left for a week's holiday in the Lake District only to realise that I had forgotten my eye drops for Glaucoma. In desperation I phoned the Weeping Cross Health Centre and asked whether a prescription could be sent to a Pharmacy in Windermere. The very helpful Receptionist promised to alert a GP to the problem that very day. It turned out that I was able to collect the eye drops the following morning. The incident served to remind me how helpful your staff are despite their considerable workload. The Practice is very fortunate to have staff of this calibre – and I consider myself very fortunate to be served by the Practice.
