    It was a mid morning appointment, was prompt and was first time visiting since moving into the area First impressions when entering the consulting room felt uninviting, the Dr had her back to me and did not look around until I sat down. There was no feeling of the Dr being appoachable and I actually asked if she was having a bad day due to the blunt introduction. This doesnt put me off attending again, just giving my honest opinion and Im sure there were reasons behind it, but it just made me feel a little under valued as a patient

    I was booked for blood test for feb 25 at 1138 am, after my first appointment was cancelled due to staff sickness. When its time to checked in. Receptionist said it has been cancelled. I said no one has told me. Receptionist said there was a text sent to my mobile as cancellation. I said I would have not turned up here and missing agency work if I had receive the cancellation text.

    My appointment was with Oliver at Stakes Lodge Surgery. I felt comfortable talking to Oliver and was very impressed with his willingness to listen, offer advice and helpful manner. It’s was a reminder to me of how things used to be when you visited the doctor. Someone actually listening, talking to you, looking at you instead of a computer screen. Thank you Oliver

    I was called at the time of my appointment, and the nurse was kind and caring - we had a friendly chat and she put me at ease. The blood testing was complete in a very short time and I was on my way again within a few minutes. We'll done Vine Medical Group for the efficient service. The only negative comment I can make is the lack of parking at the Forest End site.

  6. Review titled BP test review 3 months overdue.

    Following Flu & Covid jabs on 12 October, was asked to submit a weeks worth of BP results online. Submitted by 21 October. Had not heard anything by 26 November & was advised they could not locate them. Asked to submit in writing, which I did 4 December. Chased 12 December but not reviewed by Doctor who was then “tasked” by receptionist. Chased 6 January but still not reviewed by Doctor who was “urgently tasked” again by receptionist. Chased 21 January, but still not reviewed. Another “urgent task” submitted 21 January by receptionist, identifying travel insurance implications for my upcoming overseas travel. Advised to chase again 24 January but I have low level of confidence after 3 months of trying!!!!

    I have recently seen a Nurse twice with two of my children for vaccinations. Not only was she brilliant with my children helping them feel relaxed she was very knowledgeable about the vaccinations and was able to give us all the information we needed. Both boys left happy with no fear of vaccinations. Thank you!

    My doctor took the time to listen to my health concerns, address my worries, and genuinely show care and a desire to help. Together, we created a health plan that left me feeling much more positive and reassured than when I first arrived for my appointment.
