    I used the Anima system for the first time. It took me a while to fill out and said it may take a few days before I got a reply. I had a text the same day offering me an appointment a few days later. I was examined by a doctor who gave me advice.

    I managed a same day appointment with polite and friendly service. Efficient service. Ample parking with easy access. Medicine dispenced to a local pharmacy.

    Using the new system l thought that l would get a reply from the surgery in the future and ten minutes after filling in the form online l received a call from the surgery with a consultation with the doctor in two hours which l was pleasantly surprised If this is the future then I am very happy

    I was advised to visit the surgery at a specific time and I arrived a few minutes before. I did not have to wait long before being seen by the doctor. It was a quick consultation with no problems. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful

    Booking appointments can still be a challenge but the online options for non urgent cases are much better now and response times are reasy

    I completed on-line booing form. Lots of questions but only took 5 minutes to complete. I got a call from surgery 10 minutes after submitting form. I was offered an appointment on the same day. Alas I couldn’t make that one but was offered an alternative appointment 2 week later. Excellent. May have been so efficient due to launch of new booking system. Not sure if it’ll be as efficient once people become aware of the system and it becomes over-loaded.

    It seems that the surgery is open to phone calls all day, not just 0800 or 1400. This means it may be possible to get an appointment before the condition requires hospital attendance.

    I saw the nurse to have my dressing removed after a hip operation. Initially my appointment was at the Forest End but I received a text and an email first thing in the morning to tell me that the appointment had to be changed due to staff sickness. The new appointment was at the Stakes Lodge site and only 50 minutes later. I was able to attend easily and am grateful that I was advised with as much time as possible. The nurse was kind and patient with me. Thank you.

    Annual medical carried out in a friendly and professional experience. When asked about a PSA test, pros and cons explained, extra blood taken. All good.
