    Admittedly, I have been a bit sceptical about how the online triage/request service will work, but today, I needed to use it so gave it a go. I filled in details of my daughter, along with her ailments, and submitted the form. 5-10mins later I received a phone call from the triage GP to say could I bring her in at 10am! Brilliant! Shortly after this, I filled out another form, this time for my son. Again, only a short time passed and I received a phone phonecall to bring him in too, she realised I had an appointment already for daughter and so offered to see at the same time or different. Genuinely blown away by the service we received today. System was so easy to use and clearly very effective! The ANP that we saw said they often have over 600 requests a day! You wouldn't know because they manage it so well! I might have two children now on antibiotics, but to be seen, diagnosed and prescribed medicine within just a few hours is very impressive! Long gone are the days of ringing at 8am to find you're number 30 in the queue, and on a busy school morning, that takes a lot of stress out of the day! Thank you Village Health group, and especially Nurse rh, for your quick diagnosis and efficient service today. Much appreciated!

    I completed an online request for attention to my mum‘s sore toe. Very soon after I was sent a link to attach a photo, and not long after that I was offered a prescription for the toe issue and it was sent to our holiday chemist. 100% amazing attention to detail by everybody involved at the practice, thank you so much, mum is already feeling a little better, and this is down to your diligence and care

    I used the new total triage system for the first time & have to say it was an excellent service. I completed the online form with my symptoms...within 15 minutes I was contacted by the surgery & offered an appointment with a doctor for later that day. I was very impressed how quickly I was seen & with the system as a whole.

    I used the new online service to register my issue and within an hour and a half I had been seen and was in possession of my prescription. Lovely, friendly call from the receptionist within 40 mins and a doctors appointment soon after. Really pleased with the service after being apprehensive of using the online service.

  5. Review titled Very time consuming system for the patient

    I completed the necessary online form which for an elderly person is quite time consuming. A couple of hours later I was surprised to get a phone call from the pharmacist. I did feel my medical problem required the attention of a GP. However I made the 15 minute journey down to East Leake. After being seen by 2 pharmacists it was decided to refer me back to a GP. After returning home I then received another phone call offering me a face to face appointment. Later that afternoon I had to make another journey back to East Leake. A very stressful day overall.

    Receptionist was very helpful. Doctor very clear and I was able to collect prescription as advised. Minor problem but dealt with promptly. Felt confident dealing with this issue over the phone. Not sure about anything more complex

    I really like the new GP triage system which I have used twice recently. In both cases I filled in the details on the vhg website ( no passwords required ) and I was contacted by the medical team within an hour - in one case within 15 minutes! In one case I was seen by the GP's assistant the same day and given a hospital appointment for the very same day. All in all a great improvement on my previous experiences of trying to arrange to see a GP.

    I have always had really good experience at this surgery and appropriate responses to my concerns. I think the new system of contacting a GP for advice is excellent, it’s worked really well for me today. Very speedy response time (same day) and offered a same day appointment.
