    Phones rarely answered and when they are you have been hanging on (not peak time) for at least 1 hour when you were number 3 in que. Takes weeks even months and continuous phone calls and online form filling and then still no appointment.

    I have never seen a doctor, just the ‘GP assistant’ who is unable to give expert advice (not his fault). I am always directed to email in when asking for specific advice or guidance. I think this is just a sort of prescription processing centre. Reception staff always lovely though.

We do advertise that we have a robust complaints process available and if patients have a concern we advise them to use that rather than through anonymous feedback.

    There only seems to be one consistent doctor at the surgery - and then a rotating door of locums. Whenever I have called to make an appointment for the same day I have spent around an hour on hold, sometimes more. When calling later in the day to make more long-term appointments the situation is no better, again 45 minutes on hold. Phone appointments are often given, with a 2 hour window which is often not met. If you miss the call, they don't call back. They may then ask you to come in at any given time. There is no understanding that people have lives to lead - work/childcare/transport to balance. The receptionist and doctor themselves are always kind/polite/caring but often this is lost in the frustration caused by seeking medical help in the first place.

  4. Review titled Utter disappointment

    My mother passed away on Thursday 27th July 2023, we are still waiting for a GP from this practice to return from holiday for the death certificate to be signed (apparently no one else is available to do it) we have now cancelled 2 pencilled in dates for the funeral as when the certificate is finally signed there is a further 2 week wait for registration appointments, there is no guarantee our 3rd date will stand either which is currently 28 days since her passing. I cannot express the pain this is causing my family all because a GP has gone on holiday!

    Trying to get a repeat prescription is like trying to get blood out of a stone, even when requested on a pharmacy delivery app. Been waiting for over 2 weeks for the repeat to be authorised and even then not all items are authorised and some are still pending. Sadly this surgery has gone downhill over the last 6+ months.

    Had to call 111 for health issues. I've been told. My GP will call me in given time. I'm still waiting after 5 days... l mentioned this because it's not the first time...

    We are sorry to hear of your experience but it may not be the GP practice that is at fault however we would ask you to contact the practice directly as it is unusual for a patient to wait 5 days before advising they have not been contacted. We would look forward to resolving your concern

    2 referrals not sent correctly, delaying treatment for my child by 4 months. One referral was never sent even though they emailed to confirm it was, one was sent to an adults department instead of paediatrics. Constant battle to see a GP in person. Do not feel cared for.
