    I get an occasional phone call now and again and prescriptions are changed but apart from that my main problem is not being addressed, a paramedic visits twice a week to do the dressing but that is it

    Some clinicians tries to locate the root cause of the problem and giving medications to mask out symptoms or try medications to see if that will stope the symptoms. It's always good to locate the root cause or the symptoms before prescribing something.

I assure you that every complaint/comment delivered to the practice is investigated, acted upon and learned from.     It's hard to find appointments sometimes, also if a patient complains about a symptom or illness for long time they don't get referred to specialist or further investigation.

    Dear Patient I would like to sincerely apologise for the frustrating experience you had when trying to book an appointment At Thurrock Health Centre, we strive to provide the best possible care and service to our patients We understand the inconvenience caused by the extended wait time and the impact it had on your overall experience. To address these issues and enhance the patient experience, we have recently introduced e-consult as an additional option for booking appointments. E-consultations allow you to submit your symptoms and concerns online, providing our medical team with the necessary information to review your case and respond promptly. This new system aims to streamline the appointment booking process and minimise the need for lengthy phone calls, saving you time and effort, you can access e-Consult via our website. You have chosen to remain anonymous which I understand and respect, however, this makes my investigation slightly more difficult as I cannot directly review the matter. Patients feedback is important to Thurrock Health Centre and is used within Practice Meetings and protected learning. Feel free to contact us again should you require any further information.     I don’t usually leave any feedback because I know the system and I know I have to be patient and insist as much as I can. I had an ultrasound on 9th of December and today 23rd of December and still waiting a text from GP with my results. My results were sent to Gp on 10th and I called myself to the medical centre to find out what happened as the Gp didn’t bother..they just said to wait. Finally they “located my results” but I still have to wait for their text..this was on 20th. My attempt on 15th to find out what happened failed. I know all the specialist appointments takes time but with if I’m waiting for no reason it’s making me very disappointed.

    This occasion was good from the moment I started through to the conclusion of the issue. The help and support I got was as expected. Cannot fault the service over the past few days of help.     I called in on the day and I got an appointment. It was really great. I had to use the online service but it was amazing. The doctor called me back that day and look at my son so very good service.

    Once you actually get an appointment it’s ok, but the process of getting one is ridiculous. Would any commercial organisation ask all their customers to arrive at the same time? You make everyone call at 8am for appointments, which means I can never get through to cancel when an appointment is no longer required. You really cause your own issues with your silly policies
