    After my appointment with the Locum Dr I asked the receptionist to print the xray form, she informed me that it wasn’t needed so I asked her to check if I had been referred for a chest xray, which she was unable to do as the Dr was still in my records. I felt that she could have checked with Dr instead of being unhelpful and on the verge of rude. I had just been told that I was having an urgent referral which had made me extremely anxious and upset. A little compassion and helpfulness from your receptionist regardless of the situation would have been wonderful. I also received a letter and leaflet about my potential cancer referral which came as a shock. Discussions with the Locum led me to think I was potentially being referred for cancer investigations but this was not mentioned or confirmed and the first ‘Official’ notification was the letter. E consult clearly works with quick appointments offered.

    Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback regarding your recent experience of the service you have received from the Surgery. I would like to apologise the service you have received. I assure you that all our staff, including receptionists are highly trained to carry out their duties in the most professional manner in order to uphold our very high standards of care. We share all feedback with the practice team You have chosen to remain anonymous which I understand and respect, however, this make my investigation slightly more difficult as I cannot directly review the matter at hand. I assure you that every complaint/comment delivered to the practice is investigated, acted upon and learned from. Should you decide to contact me directly, we can work collaboratively to develop our practice and learn lessons to improve the services at Thurrock Health Centre so please do get in touch at your earliest convenience so we may discuss a progressive route forward.     Having had almost daily appointments over the last six weeks, i have recieved nothing but a friendly and professional service from reception to the nurses. Iam pleased to have this opportunity to say thank you to you all ??

    The telephone consult was rushed. The nurse couldn’t wait to end the call. From her comments It was apparent she had not read my notes.

    The staf is very friendly, the GP went above and beyond to help me found the state of my phisical health. I never been treated as good since I registered with Thurrock Health Centre. Keep it up!

    Ive been a patient here for over 13 years and can confidently say they are a first class doctors and health centre. Superb service, in person, or over the fone. Extremely clean surgery and extremely efficient staff.
