Had to call today with a complex enquiry regarding transfer of medical history - the reception team were so helpful and kind, really went above and beyond to help me. Took far longer than the usual couple of minutes and I know they must have had a long queue, yet they didn't rush me at all. Very good experience.

The specialist I had my appointment with was very polite, listened fully to me, offered advice upon the info I had given and made me feel valued and supported.

I had an issue to book an appointment with my GP to duscuss my prescription and the receptionist is been so professional and kind to sort out the issue I really want to thank Her for such a professional attitude.

I have been going to Wellspring for a few years now and every time I speak with reception they have a rude manner of tone. You get the sense that they're angry that you're talking to them and don't want to speak to you. Last time I called I was greeted with silence and then just "Hi" as if I woke them up. Looking at other reviews on here and Google, I am not the only one. Many complaining about a specific receptionist and I know exactly who they mean. Please take this on board and actually do something because this isn't just a one off, but every time and clearly nothing has been done. Thankfully the Doctors and Nurses have been great.

I have tried for over a week to get an appointment just to talk to a doctor about a on going problem and medication I’m on. The online booking is a complete waste of time. Put in all the symptoms if they are there, when you get to the end it says ring the surgery to make an appointment. I have in my telephone log chalked up 247 call to the surgery from 8am -8.30 and usual story , no appointments. I admit it’s not an urgent problem but it still needs to be sorted. I sincerely hope the people that manage to get an appointment turn up for them . If not the should pay a fee before they can make another. It’s not the receptionist fault but bad management and you should consider a public meeting and face your patients air out problems instead of excepting your inadequate. Everyone been brain washed into saying it’s due to covid. Covid is almost three years behind us and you found that blaming covid is a quick fix to nothing. Why are you asking us for feedback and asking if we would recommend family or friends to your surgery when you can’t cope with what you got, ridiculous. Please take on board what people are telling you. Hold a public meeting and don’t just leave your reception to talk the flack for your never ending incompetence of your appointment system.

Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback. The surgery implemented a new phone system in May 2023 as we recognised the difficulties in getting through on the phone. I hope this improves your experience of making an appointment. If you would like to speak to a manager please ask at reception to talk this through. the doctors are fine most of them most of the time its the reception side of it some are rude hard to get through on the phone and get an appointment clearly in need of management overhaul.

I’m writing to say how impressed I’ve been with Wellspring recently. My children and I have needed several appointments recently and I’ve been able to speak to or see a doctor or practice nurse on the same day each time. The vast majority of receptionists are so polite and helpful and I’ve been so impressed. Over the past three years since my twins were born I’ve always been so impressed with the standard of care for them but it has been hard sometimes to get through to the surgery but this has improved so much. Really happy that this is my local surgery - thank you all.

Had appointment with Wellspring Nurse. Carried out very efficiently and in a friendly/empathetic manner. Results phoned to me within 48 hours. Great Service especially during these difficult times
