Rang at 11.30, triaged by a g.p at 1pm for a non urgent problem. Seen at 4pm that day. That's how a good system works when used properly. Great g.p Liked the lovely music in the reception area. Surgery clean and bright. So glad it's my g.p surgery.

Dear all at the Village surgery, Once again I have nothing but absolute praise for this wonderful surgery. Everyone from receptionist, nurses, and GPS always go above and beyond for you. You always get an appointment if you call at the stated times. I do not know how they do this but am beyond grateful ! Recently at my appointment I saw one of the Nurse practitioners about an intimate and possibly serious issue. I was treated with amazing kindness, professionalism and skill. I felt that despite my situation I had a positive experience in which I felt I had been provided (again) with everything I needed, and more. This is a surgery you should be very proud of, and I hope this is always the case in these very challenging times. Many thanks

I only have positive things to say about The Bramhall Village Surgery. The GP’s and nurses are always friendly and compassionate which is very much appreciated.

The service at this surgery is really poor and there is zero follow ups . I’ve phoned the surgery three times to get results. On the first occasion I was told they will look into, on the second they will call me back - nobody called. After the third chase the surgery said they’d send another email follow up. Trying to ascertain when they will call me back was impossible as the woman on the phone just seemed disinterested and said she’d write a note on my file. Not great service. I would expect when you say you will respond to a patent with test results that you would follow that up.

The village surgery staff are very friendly. From the reception team to nurses and doctors. Great service. Always they try to help. Highly recommend the surgery

Have been at this practice for 10 years now. The service provided is above and beyond. Arranging an appointment involves no stress. Myself, husband and children always feel listened to. Reception staff and doctors are kind, friendly and professional. We appreciate all that you do and are so grateful to be patients at this surgery. Thank you so much for your outstanding care and service.

Great support from practice nurses who proactively manage my care and look for opportunities to allow me to better monitor my condition.. My GP supports my evolving changes in medication ensuring a smooth transition when required. The doctors I have seen at the practice have been friendly, thorough and very professional. The annual review is very reassuring and I appreciate the whole team.

This practice is excellent and yesterday was an exceptional service. I rang for an appointment for my child. They quickly assessed and took my information and provided me with what was needed. The receptionist was so friendly, understanding and phoned up after the Doctor had done a prescription to check all was well. This was going above and beyond what was required. Thank you. Also, thank you to the Doctor who yesterday, and has in the past, been so helpful to me and my family. It is so difficult at the moment with the NHS as a whole being underfunded and the government not seeming to listen to Doctors about what is needed. Despite this pressure the village service still provide an amazing service to me and my family. Thank you and well done. Please pass on my gratitude to the Doctor and receptionist who helped yesterday. It is well deserved.

Because you cannot book an appointment on line which is not acceptable you are forced to phone. This is a warning to all be careful how long you stay on the call. The surgery phone number is for some reason a national number and if you are in the queue you see your phone bill rocket. A 10mins call is £2.50. I wonder hiw much the surgery majesty on this. I have one call cost me over £10. The auto message should advise of the cost for staying in the queue. Get the online booking sorted please Village Surgery.

Dear Alan Please do get in touch with us to discuss this as we can assure you that the charges you refer to here are incorrect. We can also assure you that the surgery do not make any money on any calls received All practices across Stockport are on the same cloud based telephony system that has been in place for more than 3 years now and this is the first time we have received information of this nature. If you have been charged in error we can track your call and try and establish where the problem is. Feel free to contact the surgery to discuss this matter with the Practice Manager

For me the Village Surgery stands out for 3 reasons: 1. Doctors, nurses and receptionists all deliver first class care 2. No longer need to repeatedly ring early morning for an appointment on the day. Receptionists ring you back based on your place in the queue. 3. Booking online for a non-urgent appointment is simple. Well done everyone involved.
