For me the Village Surgery stands out for 3 reasons: 1. Doctors, nurses and receptionists all deliver first class care 2. No longer need to repeatedly ring early morning for an appointment on the day. Receptionists ring you back based on your place in the queue. 3. Booking online for a non-urgent appointment is simple. Well done everyone involved.

Moved to the Village Surgery January 2020 and amazed at the difference from my previous doctors. Everybody is very proactive and helpful with everything being explained. The reception staff are always helpful and if they don’t know the answer to your query they will find out and come back to you . The doctors and nurses are so supportive and show a lot of patience with my phobia of having my blood pressure being taken. I cannot praise this practice enough . They are what a good doctors practice should be - very thorough and supportive providing excellent patient care .

My practice is extremely busy but they always have time to deal with your issues . Nothing seems to be any trouble to them ,- if they can possibly help they will do

This is the best Practice I have had, having been with them for more than 15 years. Everyone is helpful, pleasant and caring. This is the way to run an efficient Practice.

I am very impressed with the practice, after just joining recently. I find the receptionists kind and helpful and the doctors are lovely. Unlike other practices, I have been able to get appointments when need and feel well cared for and listened to. I am happy to have my whole family registered at the practice.

The Village Surgery is accessible, friendly and very responsive to my health needs. I am thankful for the excellent standard of care that I always receive and am happy to recommend this local GP practice.

Following a consultation with the Practice Nurse, I followed her recommendation to attend a six week course, run by the Local Authority health service, designed to help patients better manage their own diabetes. The course was superb and has completely changed my life. By following the advice from the course practitioners, within three months I have lost weight, my night time sleep regime has improved, I feel less tired in the daytime and my HbA1c blood sugar level has reduced from 73 to 55. For the past 29 years I and my family have always received great care and support with our health from the Village Surgery and my recent experience is further testament to their professionalism.

The evening availability of appts with the nurse was very welcomed. The reception staff were welcoming, the waiting room calm and clean and the waiting time was minimal. The nurse’s approach was thoroughly welcoming professional and knowledgeable and they put me totally at ease through a routine smear test process. They were very accomodating when I opted for a blood pressure test and again put me at ease by explaining the readings. A lovely warm, friendly approach to delivering their service.
