always when I give the order for the baby's prescription, it is missing and says that it is waiting for the doctor to check, although I still have treatment for 3 months on the letter. after waiting in line for half an hour on the phone, he tells you that the doctor will call you and doesn't call back. you have to beg them to help you with something. I am very disappointed

  2. Review titled Surgery gone downhill since change of reception staff

Rated 1 star out of 5

This surgery had a booking based appointments policy and also a emergency on the day to day basis until new receptionist stuff come in to this surgery, and now there is only a day to day emergency appointment and by 8.10 am the appointments are gone then you have to call the next day and the next and if you say something the staff is very rude and keep a grudge so it's again Impossible to get an appointment. I had to wait 3 weeks to see a doctor and after I spoken to a doctor she asked me to go in to see her that very same day while the receptionist made me wait for three weeks before I could speak to a doctor when it was so urgent And not only that but if the primary care its not good then the patients call the paramedics and then they go to A&E and no wonder the NHS is struggling Also it's against the law to have no duty of care towards patients I'm thinking of contacting itv to inform them what's really going on with the surgeries

Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback. We were very sorry to hear that you were not happy with our system and that you found it difficult to book your appointment with the doctor. Our practice amended our booking system collaboratively, to meet the demand and to safely care for our patients. We offer appointments with doctors every morning from 8am, we also offer eConsultations that are available to complete via our practice website from 8am to 10am and any urgent clinical queries are addressed on the same day. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly via the practice telephone number, practice email or by letter if you have any future concerns. Kind Regards Michaela Mydlova Practice Manager

  3. Review titled Prescription problem

Rated 1 star out of 5

Very disappointed, had a telephone consultation at lunchtime with a GP, due to a really bad chest infection. I was told by the GP that I would be able to collect my prescription for antibiotics later on that day. I called my pharmacy at 5.30pm who informed me that they had not received the prescription. I am so unwell and have now got to wait until the next day for medication that should have been sent through immediately. Really not good enough.

  4. Review titled Disappointing service

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I had heart surgery in Bart's Hospital late September and on discharge was advised to see my GP for a review of my medication after two weeks. I telephoned the surgery one afternoon to request an appointment and explained the situation. I was advised no face-to-face appointment could be given, but the best offer available was an appointment at 7.30am - the following week - to see a nurse who could take my blood pressure & check my pulse. She would then pass my details onto one of the doctors. As the heart operation had not been straightforward and I was still weak, the thought of travelling to the surgery early on a cold morning was out of the question. I therefore decided the best option for my health was to pay for a GP appointment at a local private hospital.

  5. Review titled Rude, abrupt receptionist!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 September 2022

Having received a text from the doctor’s surgery asking me to make an appointment, I phoned them and waited 45 minutes for a reply. When I finally got through to someone, they were so abrupt, rude and unfriendly. My phone was on speaker and even my husband, who overheard the person, commented on how ill-mannered they were. I appreciate that many people are under pressure at the moment but courtesy, kindness and a friendly manner cost nothing. I was very upset by the way I was spoken to. This surgery needs to ensure that the reception staff are properly trained in dealing with patients in a polite manner.

  6. Review titled Discussing service for vulnerable patients

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have been trying to get a fit to travel letter for over a month and being told different things from each receptionist, now told doctor allocated is on holiday!! Practice manager is refusing to take my calls all very frustrating especially when I have anxiety issues. No one seems to take responsibility or care about their patients

  7. Review titled Awfully rude and condescending receptionist

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 06 October 2022

The young receptionist booking telephone appointments is rude and speaks with a very condescending tone. Communicating with her seems unavoidable to get an appointment which is a real shame for all patients.
