Contacted the surgery with an emergency with my elderly mum. The receptionist went over and above in her help, kindness, speed and efficiency. Our doctor dealt with the problem there and then with her usual efficiency and wonderful kindness and reassurance. We were given clear concise information with our problem and extra advice care.X

Every time we go in for an appointment tree wait over 30 minutes. When we get seen it almost feels like we are rushed out without feeling satisfied.

Dear Patient Thank you for posting your feedback on our NHS website. I am sorry to hear that you have not been seen by your doctor on time recently. Unfortunately, it is impossible to avoid or predict waiting times due to the nature of our services. Our patients are offered standard 10min long appointment with our doctors. However, often appointments require longer than that and inevitably following appointments are therefore delayed. I would like to assure you that all our clinical staff are working hard and are trying their best to avoid long waiting times. The physiotherapist is doing an ace of a job , always trying to help i have been suffering for a long time and with this physio I’m actually getting the right treatment.. well done

I needed test results I was offered a phone consultation but I asked for 1-1 I received 1-1 as asked and was able to speak to the GP who I could ask questions about the test result and to get reassuring answers

Although staff ok, you are lucky to get past the phone receptionist to get an appointment. I have tried Econsult many times it always says try again tomorrow. I have given up trying this. I am 83 hardly ever been to see a doctor, and have even gone to a private hospital to see a doctor if it seems urgent. I dread if I need to see someone urgently. I did actually get an appointment this week to see someone at York Road clinic in 2 weeks time. I assume if it urgent I will have to go private again or phone 999 for an ambulance and wait hours for it to arrive.

I came to the surgery for a blood test The nurse was very good. She told me what the sample was being tested for. I didn’t feel the needle go in.

I was sent to see the physio after some issues with my neck were found. When I got there he spent a lot of time receiving text msgs and said a previous patient had made him late so could we reschedule. I remarked to friends how odd his behaviour was. On the next visit he was different. He examined me and found issues with my reflexes. As I'd been to ER twice this year already with serious issues and told him of how my arms are numb all night, my bowel and urination is difficult and I've had episodes where my speech has gone he listened when I said my fibromyalgia might be ms. He sent me for an emergency mri on my spine to address the numbness. Even though issues were found no one bothered to follow up on that mri. I had to phone 3 times. Then when I had an appointment he acted like a different character again. He barely looked at me and said nothing much he could do apart from give me some exercises. A specialist was recommended on the mri but he said it will likely just be pain injections. We'll I don't want that so I left feeling deflated and I won't go back. I even asked if he had a twin because his behaviour changes so much from visit to visit. I wonder if he was told of for allowing me to have that mri. The only decent thing anyone did there.
