This practice is going from strength to strength, Great doctor and support team that is steadily growing in size with specialised staff for nursing, prescriptions and admin issues. As a diabetic I can recommend the care I have received recently with prescriptions for associated conditions and symptoms. The back office admin team are excellent dealing with a wide range of administration issues and providing helpful, friendly and caring support.

I recently had an excellent experience at the Oval Practice Surgery, thanks to Pharmacist nurse. From the moment I walked in, The pharmacist nurse was welcoming and attentive, making me feel comfortable right away. She took the time to listen to my concerns and explained everything in a clear and compassionate manner. What stood out the most was her thoroughness during the consultation. The pharmacist nurse ensured I understood my options and provided thoughtful recommendations tailored to my needs. Her professionalism, combined with a genuine care for her patients, made all the difference. The staff at the practice were also friendly and efficient, contributing to a positive atmosphere. I left feeling confident in the care I received and grateful for Pharmacist nurse's dedication. I highly recommend Pharmacist nurse at the Oval Practice Surgery to anyone seeking quality medical care!

I would like to leave a review for the nurse who cares for my diabetes T2. I apparently am not allowed to use names here! She has supported me for many months now and always given me her time and attention and made me feel supported. This helps so much as I have had a very difficult/emotional couple of years now and really feel cared for. Thank you

Amazing service as ever, from operations manager on the front desk to the nurse. They both are always welcoming and helpful and look after me and my family. Brought in my new daughter to be seen and straight aware they are congratulating me and my partner and got us seen quickly. Please continue what you are doing and helping look after us

Newly registered at this practice. I had heard a lot of great things about the surgery and glad to report they are all true. The nurse was very knowledgable and very friendly and helpful. Glad to have joined.

The telephone for the Oval Practice repeatedly rings and disconnects. We became aware of this issue in March 2024, and notified the practice manager. We were advised that the surgery is aware of the issue. We are now in 2025 and the issue still persists (as of 31st Dec 2024). I do not feel that 9 months is an acceptable amount of time to resolve such an issue. Your patients deserve better. This is currently being blamed on a technical issue, but I am beginning to suspect that staff are disconnecting calls.

Dear Patient We are sorry that you feel that the staff are disconnecting the calls but I can assure you they are not. We understand your frustration at not being able to get through to the surgery. We are in current contact with the company that supply this system and they are working on sorting out the problem. Very happy with service, surgery are aware of my hidden disability and always accommodate with this and book me in at a time that helps. Nurse has been my rock at surgery and always ready to listen to my problems. Others seem to rush me through the appointment but she gives me the time of day

The other day i came to the surgery and requested for a fit note, and i was told i had to pay for it if i didnt want to wait for the appointment ? which is a shame, the main doctor and both the man who used to work at reception are nowhere to be seen unless your waving money in their faces! which is a shame this is a completely money driven practice now
