Review titled Cervical screening
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Mubeena Hussain - Posted on 15 April 2025
I recently visited this GP practice for my cervical screening, and I was genuinely impressed with the experience. Keisha was incredibly smooth and professional—she explained everything clearly and made me feel completely at ease from start to finish. What I appreciated most was how comfortable she made the whole process feel, which can be quite nerve-wracking otherwise. The procedure itself was quick, and I was in and out in no time. Honestly, it was one of the most reassuring and positive healthcare experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend this practice!

Review titled Efficient & good service

The mission practice is an example of how a GP surgery should be run. Any time that I have had an urgent issue I have been able to get a same day appointment. Their online appointments get triaged same day, any issues throughout the day over the phone (past the 8am rush) still get dealt with appropriately. Very positive experience for general consultations, blood tests, hospital referrals, and even smear tests. A fantastic example of the NHS working well. Thank you!

Review titled Impossible to get appointments, unorganised
Rated 2 stars out of 5

Sadly it is terribly difficult to get an appointment. I do not feel supported by my GP practice and do not feel i can get the help I need. For appointments you can only call at specific times - the wait time is often over 30minutes. This is not possible with a job and schedule. You will be advised to submit an online form instead, which is however closed down by the practice when at “capacity”; Often it is already closed in the morning a few minutes after the lines have open-end or does not get opened at all. The link to the booking tool on their website is outdated, and after signing in you will be told the practice is not accepting bookings at all. This should be removed if not working. I have had experiences where i do not feel taken seriously by my doctor, and as a woman have not felt comfortable during my smear test. The team seems understaffed and frustrated and they should have more support. The website needs updating and booking systems need reviewing

Review titled Near impossible to book an appointment
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Huong - Posted on 26 September 2024
Calling the GP practice anytime outside of 8am, you are informed that appointment bookings cannot be made. The window to book at 8am is about 5 minutes before all available slots are taking. Unless a mental health concern. Today I called and was told the practice was about to close, yet I sat in a queue for the last 20 minutes. Advised to call back at 8am tomorrow morning. The call was for my son. Please review how appointments can be made.

Review titled Where are all the GPs?
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by GillG - Posted on 15 July 2024
Always a long wait to be answered on the phone and the on-line system is not worth the effort as it rarely works. I do believe no actual GPs work there anymore as I have to wait for 2 weeks for a telephone call from a doctor for my condition. If I couldn't take the appointment day I would have to wait while she went on holiday! Apparently nobody else could help me? I always thought this surgery was the best, unfortunately since covid the GPs seem to have gone to ground. My dealings with all other staff has been good!

Review titled Excellent patient care
Rated 4 stars out of 5

I had an appointment with the nurse, she listened to my other health issues and went above and beyond to get me reviewed. I was lucky to be seen on the same day by the assistant practitioner and even had my blood test taken. Both staff were kind, caring, helpful, and listened to my concerns and showed empathy. I also got a referral on the same day for further tests. Thank you both and continue with the good work.

by Paul - Posted on 03 July 2024
Patient care from nurses are exemplary. They really do know how to look after patients. Treating me and my individual needs well. Talking to me with respect and showing kindness. Dedicating time, effort and patience. I always leave the practice with a smile on my face which usually lasts the whole day.
