    The most appalling doctors' surgery in the country. It isn't fit for purpose and should be shut down. The reception staff are horrenedous. They are almost comically rude and have no concern for the dignity of the patients. I've been humiliated countless times. They force you to reveal personal information in front of other patients in order to be seen by a doctor and your right to privacy is never taken into account. It is nearly impossible to get a routine appointment and if you need an emergency appointment, you have to attend the clinic personally at 8am (any time after that and you can forget about being seen), which is the last you want to do when you're feeling very ill. Then there's the ridiculously incompetent medical staff. I've experienced so many incidences of their lack of professionalism bordering on negligence. My skin cancer was misdiagnosed (I was told the lesion was harmless by one of their doctors) and it grew larger over a period of two years. I had to resort to seeing a dermatology privately at great expense to myself and had to pay to have the skin cancer removed. I was told by the private consultant that I need a skin checkup every six months. Now Londsdale Medical Centre is refusing to refer me to an NHS dermatologist for this. I was also refused a referral for a bone spur in my foot, which causes me a lot of pain and has severely affected my mobility. Unfortunately, I can't afford to go private for this and will just have to suffer. In other areas, I have taken my healthcare into my own hands and now buy medication online as Londsdale Medical Centre won't provide me with what I need. The standard of care offered is Dickensian and wouldn't pass muster in the most deprived developing country. I'm now looking to join another clinic. If you're after even basic healthcare, avoid this place like the plague. I'm sure life expectancy among Lonsdale Medical Centre's patients is dropping significantly as the clinic simply doesn't take care of even their most rudimentary healthcare needs.

    My wife had an appointment today. I called 35 minutes before the appointment to say she could not attedn as she is too ill. After 28 minutes in the telephone queue I was cut off. I called abcka dn again was number 13 in the queue. This means I was unable to notify of non attendance before the time of the appointment. The over-75 number does not work.

    I called the practice today shortly after 8:30 am and the receptionists told me that the specialist will call me for phone consultation around 9:25 am . It’s 12 midday and no one called me . Dispointed . I need to see a doctor so can you tell me how ?

    I was automatically registered to this practice when my previous practice closed a few years ago. I have never managed to get a face to face appointment. I finally managed to book an appointment for today, over 2 weeks ago. When I got there this morning the receptionist said my appointment was yesterday and they could not fit me in. I would strongly advise against registering with this surgery. You will be disappointed.

    I brought my little one in to see a GP and the GP was amazing. She was incredibly thorough and detailed with her examination and put all of us at ease. After the appointment, the GP even sent us helpful links on common childhood illnesses and when to worry, which was incredibly helpful. We recommend this practice to our friends.     I’m baffled by the 5* reviews left - mainly that people are able to get an appointment. This was the process I experienced (not fit for purpose): - visit the surgery - no appointments available, best to apply online - apply online - complete pages of irrelevant information that I strongly suspect no one will read (don’t blame them) - wait 48 hours for an email/ text response - nothing happens - complete the ‘you have ignored my request’ form - nothing happens - go back to the surgery. Explain that my daughter has complex needs and can’t have a random call at a random time, she needs (& disability legislation supports this) a face-to-face appointment. - beg, plead, eventually get one two weeks later at a massively inconvenient time which means my husband has to take a day off work. If you actually enabled people to book appointments, then you might be able to remove some of your passive-aggressive signs reminding patients to ‘be kind’. I feel sorry for your receptionists - by the time people drag themselves into your surgery, they have already had a frustrating and annoying experience. Do better.

    Absolutely awful. The admin staff (except for one lady who seems to be the only person who knows how to do her job) are awful. They are either super unhelpful or give you incorrect information. On more than one occasion I have gone in for an appointment for my newborn baby and have been told the appointment has been changed without them informing me before the appointment. Have been given the wrong information several times. On one occasion they were out of stock of vaccines so my newborn was unable to get vaccinated. Terrible experience for the last 3 months.

    I developed a hip/lower back problem and phoned on Tuesday the over 75 line of my practice, the Lonsdale Medical Centre, London. I was offered an an appointment on Wednesday, the very next day with the GP who has been looking after me for about 10 years. He arranged for a psa blood test on Saturday, referred me for an X Ray at St Mary’s, London, and to the local specialist physiotherapy team who will do an assessment and if needed a soft tissue scan. I left feeling wonderfully cared for and in awe of our National Health Service.

    They just don’t care! Nobody answers the phones or replies to the admin email address. Very concerned at the poor attention my 80 year old mother has received at this terrible surgery.
