  1. Review titled Disappointing

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Appointment cancelled very short notice. My child was due to see the doctor regarding her anxiety so for the appointment to of been cancelled at such short notice you can imagine how that left her feeling. I had made alternate arrangements for childcare, school and my work placement which was all wasted. I understand staff may have to cancel due to sickness however I do think alternate staffing system should be in place. There is a notice on the wall in the surgery stating how many appointments were missed by patients each month , how many are missed due to absent doctors?

  2. Review titled Well run practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

This practice is so well run and staffed throughout with great people. I have always had a good experience from phone call to appointment. You can get through relatively easily on the phone, good choice of phone call, nurse or GP appointment. This seems against the grain from other people’s experiences of other practices. I can’t recommend or thank them enough for their fabulous service to their patients.

  3. Review titled Great practice teamwork

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Sandra Davison - Posted on 12 January 2024

My experience goes back to me receiving a letter asking me to make an appointment for specific routine bloods, when booking my appointment, the receptionist noticed that my other routine bloods would be due soon and she asked if I would like them all doing together ( well trained and observant). This saved coming and going taking up more appointments. On the day of my appointment, the nurse was very thorough, doing other basic observations and tests for a person of a certain age. She was so friendly and professional. However, after being unsuccessful in obtaining bloods due to my veins, not her skill! She kindly spoke to the phlebotomist who just after a short wait, did my bloods whilst I was there. I am so happy with the team at this practice, they are always so helpful, polite and professional. I know there have been and still are some stressful times for everyone, however the team have never shown anything but kindness and understanding. Your staff are all brilliant from the hub of reception to the clinical team. I thank you all.

  5. Review titled Excellent service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Reception staff friendly and empathetic, nurse practitioner very professional and helpful, all doctors I've came across have listened and resolved our issues. I felt compelled to write a review today as I had taken my 1 year old to see a dr 3 months ago, today he called for an update on how my boy was doing which gave a lot of reassurance. Thanks to all staff for looking after my family so well!

  7. Review titled House bound patients

    by Jolex93 - Posted on 28 November 2022

My mother is house bound, due to mobility issues, anxiety, and does not have access to transport, so is unable to attend the GP surgery. She needed a medication review, and explained several times to several different people, that she was house bound and unable to attend the surgery. Subsequently her prescription was just stopped and she had dreadful withdrawal symptoms. We managed to get her prescription privately. I find it very concerning that a GP practice does not seem to understand about house bound patients and that they can not attend the surgery, and to just stop medication because a patient can not attend the surgery is unacceptable. There need to be procedures in place to make sure house bound patients get medication. It's just unacceptable and needs addressing.

Truly amazed & delighted at the efficiency how quickly I receives my flu jab. Was like on a conveyor belt in and out in seconds. I have said before I wish I'd left my previous ,epically centre ages ago and come to this one.
