  1. Review titled Lovely nurse

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Had to have a B12 injection, which is a little painful when liquid goes in. Nurse was lovely, she puts you at ease and is really nice and chatty, so makes you relax and will have a laugh with you. 😄

  2. Review titled Very efficient

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I rang to make an appointment to see my GP and managed to get into see him on the same day. Was sent for blood work, managed tonget in at the hospital the following day, results back the following day and the surgery phoned to book me in two days later to review them with my doctor. You can't complain at that level of service.

  3. Review titled New Registrar

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Michael Stewart - Posted on 17 May 2024

The new (ish) registrar I saw yesterday was excellent and restored my faith in general practice. He empathised and was extremely thorough- well briefed on my notes despite having never before met. Please keep him. He’s a huge benefit to Downland.

  8. Review titled Fabulous service/practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Jade Wallin - Posted on 16 May 2024

I have been a patient at several practices and the Woolton Hill Surgery is just great. On my recent visit this month, the staff were happy and friendly and very helpful, my family only moved to the area approx a year ago and the whole family are really very happy with all aspects of the care and interaction they have had with all staff, in person, on the telephone and online. Thank you all.

  9. Review titled Decent

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Steve Wilson - Posted on 15 May 2024

Decent experience because the GP is knowledgeable and communicated clearly plus gave me options on treatment and the consequences. However getting the actual appointment is still a tortuous gamble of time vs health

  10. Review titled So much to praise, but...

Rated 2 stars out of 5

The GPs are fantastic and the pharmacy ok if you do not mind waiting very long times to find out if a prescription is ready for collection and if not, waiting again. (Texts that are supposed to confirm when prescriptions are available rarely, if ever, arrive.). However, when calling to make a GP appointment, unless your issue is considered urgent, you can only see your own GP on days when s/he work at the surgery. Even after taking into account the demands on the NHS, this arrangement can be very limiting, especially if you are also working in the NHS elsewhere where staffing is limited and need is urgent at all times.
