    It’s absolutely horrible the staff are so rude and receptionist are absolutely clueless they dont know what they are doing, when you call you wait for over 1 hour and then they just cut the call on you , you wait for 4 weeks for an appointment just for them to check for 10 second and say have some antibiotics ( i have been told this for 3 years for the same problem) we have other patients to see , what am i then did i come here for fun

    I've been registered with this practice for about 15 years now (long before they moved into the current building). Since I suffer from several chronic health issues, I am something of a "frequent flyer". Throughout that time, they have treated me extremely well. All of the staff have been professional, kind, compassionate and caring at all times. I feel very fortunate that I have such an amazing practice on my doorstep. I honestly can't recommend them enough.

    I am so disappointed with this practice - used to be OK service but has now got so bad I intend looking for another GP. I recently had a serious accident and was refused a face to face appointment with GP and asked to return to A&E (who had told me to see my GP if symptoms persisted - A&E were visibly annoyed when I told them what had happed and who asked me to return). What then followed was a catalogue of disarray including holding on the phone for 39 minutes to get through to Reception (on more than one occasion) to lost paperwork waiting signature. I eventually resorted to emailing Practice Manager but even that was not responded to by the Manager more a series of text message instructions. COVID restrictions can no longer be blamed for the awful service received here and I feel sorry for the front desk staff who have to deal with the many, many dissatisfied patients (and believe me I have spoken to a few whilst standing in the queue for ages). This is the main surgery on the Isle of Dogs so is responsible for the care of thousands of patients - I suggest someone in authority takes a serious review of its service before something serious happens to someone less capable than myself.

    If you need any help with menopause speak with the Womens health doctor. She has been brilliant. I was put through many tests before I asked to speak with Womens Health. All women over a certain age are entitled to HRT on the NHS whether their periods have stopped or not. I didnt know that. It would be great if the other doctors were aware of this too.

    The Womens Health doctor here has been so helpful and understanding. I was given the required medication for peri-menopause. I recommend anyone needing peri or menopause help to ask for the doctor who deals with Womens Health. Thank you!

    I have always had excellent professional service from this practice. I feel cared for and have never had problems with the service provided. The advise I received at short notice during the weekend to go straight to A&E, was critical to my health and appreciate the quick response.

    I have filled out an online form earlier this morning and left notes on it asking to be seen urgently by my GP. My coughing has worsen lately and was advised by the Dr of my Company through a video call that I must be seen by my GP today. No reply obtained yet by this practice, it's almost 5pm, 13/10/2022 and no answer. I called the gp practice and waited on the line for about 1hour until the receptionist answered. After explaining the situation I was told that I would need to wait until 48h for someone to review my request. I asked to speak with the GP as it was urgent case. I was put on hold and later informed that GP could not attend and would need to wait or call 111. This is totally unacceptable, when we require to see a gp at this practice we are completely lost without any help. I was told to call 111. The service is designed in such a way that demotivates a patient to see their gp. I will proceed further with a complaint.

  8. Review titled Online communication and follow up care is very efficient

    The online consultation process is very efficient with an almost immediate response and then GP telephone conversation within the promised 48 hours. Using the repeat prescription service for years now has been simple and yesterday I requested medication at around 19:00 hours which was approved by 09:30 the next morning meaning that I was able to collect any time after that, which is truly efficient.

    A GP refused to prescribe repeat medications for no reason - no contact at all, no explanation leaving without medication for several weeks. Actually was allowed to see a GP - not the one who unprofessionally ignored me and though the matter was resolved. Sadly, 2 more medications have been "banned" again without any contact to inform me. Seems that now I am old I can be ignored and shoved aside to become ill and save them the bother of having me as a patient. Symptoms of not having medication are worsening but request for contact has been ignored.

    I left a review and received the response to contact the complaints manager. I did - twice. No acknowledgement - not even the now standard auto response; 'we are so very busy due to unprecedented circumstances'. So why bother?
