I had a telephone consultation with my GP which was good. However as with many GP practices it is virtually impossible to get a face to face appointment within a reasonable time ie when you are unwell. By the time you see the doctor you will either be cured or dead. Frankly it seems that GPs have carried on as if the Covid Pandemic is ongoing.

My 91 year old mother received a home visit to give her a medical check up. The service was excellent. The medic was thoughtful,thorough and when I spoke to him he was very professional and extremely helpful . An excellent service

Appointment was easy to make and I received reminders by text. Saw my GP on time and was given great advice guidance and reassurance.

I had a telephone consultation with my GP. She was sympathetic, took time to understand my symptoms and explained the various treatment options and dosage regime. All my concerns were addressed and links promptly sent for tests and prescriptions. I am very impressed with quality of care and service.

Couldn't ask for better support. Always able to get through to the surgery. Dr's appointments are very timely and most recently seen same day (within an hour) dor an urgent appointment. Great service and follow up from both Dr and secretary. We're so lucky to be registered with the practice and the whole team do an amazing job. Can't praise highly enough.

I telephoned at 940 on Tuesday. Described my symptoms to our doctors secretary who asked if I could attend an emergency surgery at 1020 which I accepted. On being examined I took my prescription to the chemist And back volunteering at 1115. A very efficient, caring surgery as always. We have been with them for many decades. Thank you.

As a new patient at the Allan Practice I have nothing but high praise for the excellent professional care provided. My recent experiences on having to use the services of the practice was exemplary. I benefited from the efficient, friendly and prompt actions of the secretary and the professional, knowledgeable, caring and thorough approach of the GP. I consider myself fortunate to be the patient of a practice with such a great ethos. This is a great team who truly delivers excellent patient care. I am impressed and feel fortunate to have found a practice that demonstrates the best of the NHS. An ideal standard for all practices

My husband recently fell terminally ill and died. Everyone at the practice was supportive, responsive,sympathetic and most helpful, from the medical to the office staff.

I have been so impressed with the Allen Practice since moving to the area in April 22. I have had an increasing number of health issues and feel blessed to be with such an exceptional practice. To make appointments you contact your Doctor's secretary resulting in shorter waiting times to actually be spoken to for appointments. The secretary knows who you are, is extremely personable and is efficient in dealing with enquiries. Messages are taken and passed on to other members of staff who do get back to you. I have always been able to be helped with either an in-person appointment or telephone appointment or a call-back. I have an exceptional GP who has provided me with a first class service. He is meticulous in his role and goes the extra mile to ensure that he diagnoses conditions accurately to provide the best treatment. He goes out of his way to contact other specialists and Consultants. He is extremely personable and an exceptional communicator explaining everything at an appropriate level for me as a patient. He offers me the opportunity to ask further questions and always has time to talk to me. Three of the consultants that I am under have all separately stated what an exceptional GP I have as he has contacted them regarding my treatment to ensure that I have complete wrap around care. In my GP's absence, I have also been seen by other GPs, who are equally as knowledgeable and efficient. The Practice team of nurses have worked well in conjunction with my GP to support my needs and I am seen by them regularly. All staff know me as a patient and liaise with each other to support my both my medical and emotional needs. The practice is efficient and appointments run on time. It is so refreshing to have found such an exceptional GP and Practice. This is such a difference to any of my previous experiences of GP Practices. Other GP surgeries could learn a lot by following the Allen Practice's model for patient services.

It is also warming to hear that hospital consultants recognise our virtues as a practice.
