Review titled Constantly mess up prescriptions

My 85 mother has Polymyalgia rheumatica and other conditions requiring continuous medication. She put in her prescription on Monday 06/11/2023, and the chemist had not received by Saturday 11/11/2023. As by this time she urgently needed medication, she had to arrange via 911. This has happened many times, they also often do not put everything she needs through.

Very disappointed by the way the receptionist spoke this morning no sympathy not listening not even a sorry, just told twice to ring back tomorrow. I rang at 10 am because the hospital didn’t ring me until then, we Carnt all ring at 8am , some circumstances don’t allow it.

I rang the surgery doubled up in pain - the receptionist couldn’t have been more helpful - got to see a GP 15 minutes later .. excellent service .. problem and pain resolved .. huge thanks all

I have just been for my annual flu jab and all the staff from the people that greet you to the person that gives the flu jab were really pleasant and helpful. The flu clinic runs so ssmoothly and efficiently They are a credit to the practice. . It was lovely to be greeted by such happy staff

When ever I have to ring the practice or go in person , the staff are friendly helpful and manage to help any situations I need sorted. The GPs and nursing staff are very informative and help me with any of my conditions Thank you Swallownest health centre .

Rang late in the day and was had a call back within 30 mins from the nurse.problem sorted and script arranged. The nurse was very helpful and rang me the next day to follow up. Thankyou

I had a meeting on 15/05/22 at 10:10 I waited 30 minutes for the meeting. I was at the doctor's office at 10:40. The doc informed me that I only have 10 minutes for me, not 15 minutes. During the meeting, the doctor answered her private phone saying that it was important because she left the hospital and returned in 2 minutes. My meeting ended at 10:50. And yesterday I was taken by ambulance to the hospital because I was working on the freezer at work and I had an asthma attack, chest pain, shortness of breath and cough. I've had this happen a few times before and I shouldn't be working in freezers. The Swallownest GP doctor hasn't even read the letter from the Hospital Doctor who advises me to get tested for asthma and put up a fit note that I can't work in the freezer anymore. And the Doctor from the GP in Swallownest did not issue a fit note for me that I can no longer work in the freezer. She wrote me a prescription for an inhaler and said I could keep working in the freezer and she didn't even refer me for an asthma test.

Swallownest Health Centre have always shown compassion and given us same day appointments for my children when they have been unwell. The clinicians are thorough and friendly. The receptionists/call Handlers today have been extremely quick at getting down the telephone queue and providing a timely appointment suitable to the needs of the patient. Thank you 😊
