    Just cancelled my medication without prior notice!!! Then had the audacity via an untrained stroppy receptionist to say they had sent me a text, really?? This is where your hard earned tax payers money goes. Diabolical service. The NHS is doomed in this country........

It is always difficult to respond to negative reviews without having all the information following a thorough investigation. We would always encourage our patients to do this in the first instance, that way we can help to make further improvements wherever possible.     I rang yesterday for an appointment to be told only 3 available for today but at Kiveton Park. I’ve no transport and it’s ridiculous I have to go to another practice for an appointment. I was told I had to ring up 8.00am next day. I work shifts and I’m on a 6.00am start so that’s impossible to do. I could if it was a 5 minute call, but you would be waiting 30/40 mins for the call to be answered. So now I have to wait another week for my day off. My husband could never ring at 8am so he’s never going to get an appointment. We use to be able to book an appointment even if it was for a week upfront. Why can we not do that anymore as your system seems to have gone backwards.

    Dear Anonymous, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. It is very difficult for us to respond to anonymous feedback without allowing us to investigae fully. We would always encourage our patients to contact us directly in the first instance with any concerns or negativity in relation to our services. We also have the facility to listen back to our recorded calls or watch CCTV footage with regards to any patient contacts. We would have offered you an appointment at Swallownest if there had been one to offer. We encourage our patients to provide clarity with regards to their communication so that we have sufficient details to help them accordingly. Additional evening and weekend appointments are available to book via The Rotherham Health App if you are able to sign up to it. With regards to call waiting, we answer our calls under 10 minutes and we have evidence to support this. Appointments can still be booked in advance. Unfortunately there is greater demand than there has ever been. Hence the reason that we are all working together in providing additional access.
