I visited the surgery to have a Shingles vaccination. The nurse was very friendly and professional and explained all I needed to know about the vaccine. She also saved me a visit to the practice as I was due to come back to have some blood taken. She checked that it was ok to take the blood sample and then completed the procedure. She couldn’t have been more helpful and made me feel valued as a patient.

I recently had an appointment , the Doctor was brilliant and she couldn’t have been more understanding and caring, making me feel at ease throughout my appointment, with nothing being to much table for her, such a lovely lady!

I was very pleased with the service from my local surgery at Ley Hill today. I did not wait long and the staff, as always were pleasant and reassuring. Very impressed with my forthcoming travel clinic appointment. Thank you for your services.

I am a patient at another surgery within the group but required an urgent blood test yesterday afternoon and the collection time for the sample had already occurred at my own surgery so I was asked to go to Ley Hill who had a later collection time. I want to thank the reception staff for their kindness to me as I was a little shaken by the need for this urgent blood test. I would also like to thank the doctors for their patience - a vein could not be found to get the blood as I had drunk insufficient liquids during the day. After being supplied with several glasses of water, my veins gave the blood sample required. Thank you once again to everyone I saw at Ley Hill Surgery for your kindness and patience - it was very much appreciated. Best wishes and Happy New Year to all Kathy

Tried to speak to a GP rather than take up an appointment time, new booking system is not fit for purpose. Unable to use free text to explain in detail why need a call back on the day, which was required. Staff on telephone are unable to arrange a call back from a GP on the day, even if urgent, just refer you to the online booking system. Patients have become numbers, no empathy any more from what was once the caring profession.

The team at Leyhill Surgery are amazing . My husbands recent treatment from the initial appointment with the urgent care team , referral to Good Hope , the reception staff and subsequent support from our GP has been outstanding . All within a 4 week period . We are very grateful and appreciative .

tried ringing , was in a queue, when i was finally answered, i was told to book on line, tried on line and it would not accept bookings, how am i supposed to speak to someone ?

On all 3 occasions the service I received was fantastic. It was easy to make an appointment and I didn't have to wait too long before being seen. The manner of all staff was professional and a doctor rang me back in a timely manner.

Waiting for an hour to get through to receptionist for an appointment. When you do get through you are then given another appointment on the phone and then seen in person it’s such a hurdle just trying to see a GP, it makes you feel more unwell with the stress of just trying to get an appointment.
