    I’m very grateful to the surgery for being proactive in encouraging me to access the services I would benefit from, made it easy to fix an appointment with a clinical pharmacist for a review, and that person was personable, thorough, and and treated me like a whole person. That means a lot to me. My answer to the previous question about referring a friend/family was only ‘likely’ because currently the GP survey shows higher ratings for other local surgeries so I would recommend others to consult that too. But my experience today has been excellent and I would tell others about this fact.

    My experience with the Clinical Pharmacist was very thorough. He asked a lot of questions regarding my medications and my lifestyle before making any decisions on how to move forward. My consultation didn’t feel rushed or generic as they sometimes can with other medical practitioners.

    Having been a patient at Staunton Group for 20 years I have seen how patient focussed communication and appointment systems have deteriorated markedly. The continued inability to provide precisely timed phone consultations shows great disrespect for patient's own time and commitments. However, the care offered by practitioners has remained a high standard and today's appointment was no exception. The pharmacist undertaking my face-to-face medication review (for which a precise appointment time was possible), was professional and took great care to provide clear explanations throughout. He was good natured and approachable, a pleasure to deal with. He showed empathy and a holistic approach to my health.

    Getting appointments are really bad and lengths are very long to book apppintments. Cant always see the same doctor

    Dear Patient, Thank you for providing us feedback regarding our appointment availability. Please note that we have other options for our clinicians to contact you or deal with your medical need. Apart from telephone appointments and face to face appointments in the surgery, we also offer a variety of appointments through our extended hours services, if we have nothing to offer in house. There is also the Finchley Memorial Hospital Walk in center which is also available to our patients. We also offer eConsult which is another avenue to get your health concerns addressed. By completing the eConsult form you will be contacted by one of our clinicians within 2 business days. To visit the e Consult platform please visit our website: https://www.morumhouse.nhs.uk/what-is-econsult. This platform is one of the quickest ways to have your medical concern addressed and it been used by most of our patients. I will recommend that you give this option a try. We are doing are very best to meet the demands of our patients with different available options. I hope the options provided will help you to get your medical concern addressed.     Great if you know you are going to be sick in 2-3 weeks so you can pre-book an appointment. Otherwise, try getting through at 8am on the day and try your chances with hundreds of others. There's got to be a better way of booking appointments in the 21st century. Surely? Oh, and they only seem to reply to positive feedback (there's a whole bunch of negative reviews they simply don't respond to but just seem to ignore)?..

    During a prolonged period of distress this year I have received valuable support from both GP & social prescriber which was unavailable from either friends or family. I was unemployed for most of 2023 and therefore finding bills and general life difficult to cope with. After receiving both talking and walking therapies to get both body and mind active again it’s still an uphill struggle but feels more positive. Sometimes when you feel alone and completely abandoned it’s important to realise there are professional people who are there to help. And they will. But, while the road to any sort of recovery is long You have to take the first step and Ask for help And just keep going. Step by step by step and really try hard to remain calm. Also a big thank you to the practice for putting me in touch with “the listening place” which I still attend twice a month. I have never been in any sort of therapy before in my life and to begin with it felt strange but I have found it invaluable and not embarrassing at all. I needed help. I asked for help and got it. Thank you.

    This practice has an amazing hidden gem in the shape of this great person who has totally transformed my life. I’m not sure of her actual role, perhaps it’s to review repeat prescriptions to check the drs are still prescribing correctly and that the patients are still benefitting from them, I don’t know but somehow on picking me up she has gone the extra mile to help me. I’m a stubborn old fool who won’t come in and due to pandemic etc haven’t seen a dr for sone time so this lovely lady has taken it upon herself to actually help me , done my asthma reviews with me, and tried new medications for me regularly and actually kept in contact and specific intervals and not let ne down. Prior to my good fortune of picking up the phone that day, a year or I guess 2 years ago maybe, I had had no medicine changes and I felt like there was an elephant on my chest every day when I woke up. New medication was a great help. It was still challenging getting up and down stairs for first few hours of day but sooo much better. Even more recently I have been given another addition to my prescription and well it’s like I’m ten years younger. This lady is diligent, professional, caring and is the only person ever to actually hear my needs and offer solutions to them. I would probably have left this practice if it wasn’t for her so well done for hiring her and please make sure she stays! She is an excellent addition abd a real credit to you.
