My daughter, who has additional needs, has been unable to get an appointment following a hospital discharge. It's very difficult to get hold of the practice and get scything sorted for my daughter. We are now trying to change practices.

The clinical staff is top notch here, relaly good Doctors and nurses. Some of the new admin staff are very good and very caring. I have been with them for over 4 years and I have to say the place has just gotten better and better over time. My foot ailment was treated quickly and efficiently. Referall done rapidly. Smooth efficient service.

It is very difficult to get through to the practice (some receptionists are lovely though). I have had poor care from this practice and wouldn't recommend. I have not found the medical staff to be great, but that's my experience.

I work as a receptionist myself, I appreciate the patches e-consult service as I can always get to speak to a medical professional this way, I work 8-6 so I don't have time to call up at 8am so it's great for people like me to get the medical help I need. Quick and efficient!!

I have been at St Marks a very long time, almost 4 years, and been a resident of Southport now 27 years previously in Mawdesley. I ran into one of the partners in the car park this week which prompted this review. He was very nice and asked me how my experience was. In all honesty my experience at the Practice has been great. All of the GP's and Nurses here are beyond excellent. I have lots of medications and the medicine management team, both over the phone and in person are excellent, and probably the best I have experienced in the last 20 years. They really care about your wellbeing. The only weakness is on the phones where they have some excellent staff who are polite nice and empathetic. But a few can be sometimes rude and sound like they don't care. However, after speaking to the nice gentleman who encouraged me to give a review. I don't even care about waiting on the phone as long as I get a polite person on the other end, so this is the only thing that needs to get better, but apart from that everything is really great here, and I would say they provide the best care in all of Southport.

I asked the doctor to arrange a test for prostate cancer He said OK I then asked for the results of my recent blood test I was told all is normal I have recently found out that i was not tested for Prostate cancer . I think this is disgusting I went round telling my family and friends that all was good I must admit that St marks are now giving me all the tests that they think are needed. ( I think)

I have lived in Southport for 7 years and have pretty much registered in all practices including Kew, Christiana, and Cumberland. I have now been with St Marks 2 years, and can genuinely say the care you get here is far superior with clinicians taking time to understand your needs and really give you best care, not just take a pill here take a pill there. This is genuinely an excellent Practice. Hard to get through on the phone sometimes, but service is excellent.

My elderly parents are having difficulty getting through, on hold/in que for over an hour to be cut off, not just once several times. Waiting blood results so steroids can be prescribed. It took nurse 12 days to attend upon my father to take bloods from when GP first visited him. The whole system is failing.
