    Arrived on time for my drs appointment, went to reception to check in but they were indulged in their “gossip”, was quite rude already when I asked if I could please check in for my appointment. She asked who I was seeing which I told her, then she told me to go upstairs. No details, didn’t take my name or anything to check me in. 45 mins later I’m still sat waiting, other people have come up after me and gone in and left. I approached the receptionists again and just asked if I was checked in as I’m still waiting and she said yeah you are just have to wait as she must be running behind. So i did, waited for another 20 minutes, nothing. I went back to reception as I had now been sat waiting for over an hour to say that I’m going to have to leave can they reschedule. At this point she then turns to the other people behind the desks and asks them what to do?? One of the others called up to the person I was meant to be seeing and said “this is the first time she’s come to the desk but she’s saying she’s been waiting since before 4 o’clock.” Hmmm no!!! I have been here 3 times now, she said go back up she will see you now. I went up and the nurse did see me promptly, it wasn’t her fault that the receptionists were unable to do their job and check me in, they didn’t even tell her I was there!!! I was unable to get back to work before the end of the day, so I missed out on 3 hours work because of them. I’ve never had any issues with the drs and nurses at this surgery, but the reception staff can be so rude and “jobs worthy” (not all of them) I’ve since emailed to complain.

    Non judgemental supported my needs showed concern when needed help ref tummy. Very professional. Recommended them to daughter and friends. Drs know I just get on with life. Had lots of drama with ongoing court case that finally won after 6 years. For my wellbeing centre land taken of me wrongly by solicitors causing me unbelievable duress stress and unnecessary trauma. Read up on law represented self. Got land back after 6 years. Drs been so understanding and supportive to me ref my stress levels. As have been getting headaches and tummy issues. Drs addressed situ immediately ordering bloods to be done and put me in contact with hospital for stomach scan possible endoscopy colonoscopy. Beauties. Brilliant Drs. Just saying kind regards Fizz n Family.

    Been registered to the surgery for almost a year now and visited a good number of times. Staff are always friendly and eager to help. I commend their effort.

  4. Review titled amazing gp practice.

    I have been at this practice for three and a half years. I can not recommend this practice enough. I have always been treated so respectfully and kindly, as have my family through various illnesses. As a family, we have always been seen when needed, either virtually or in person and have always been treated with respect and empathy. Thank you to an amazing practice.

    Did an econsult online at 8:30 rather than call the surgery. A GP called me by 8:50 and I was seen in the surgery that morning. Did another econsult the following week for the same ongoing issue at 5:30pm. The GP messaged me at 5:50pm to inform of my appointment to be seen the next morning. The GP was thorough and gave me plenty of time. Took my bloods urgently and called in the morning with the results and next steps. Amazing prompt service. Thank you

    your new policy on booking appointment to attent the surgery in person?? do this mean event if disable limited to walk ?? as this is what was told on the phone

    Our policy on booking appts has not changed - it has expanded to allow patients to book via the on line system Klinik. If a patient does not have access to the internet they are able to ring up and go through the Klinik system over the phone or we can do this face to face in the surgery. We encourage people to do this via the internet wherever possible as doing it over the phone will block the lines unnecessarily so. I would be very happy to re send the guidance we issued regarding our new system or to listen to the call to see if you were inaccurately advised - should you wish me to do this please contact the surgery and ask for Liz Brimacombe, Man aging Partner.
