    I had a good experience with the practice on 7 March, the doctor listened and gave advice on what to do to resolve my health issue.

    I have been trying to log on to the surgery but cannot to so as it wont recognise my details. I registered with patient access and made a nore of the ridiculously long password but it will not accept it. I want to order some more co-codamol as I have run out. Please advise. I give up. This is getting stupid

    I wait more than an hour for a nurse to consult me, not even a doctor, to tell me that it's a virus and it goes away on its own and she can't help me. I asked for an exemption because I missed school and she told me that it is not possible.thank you so much for losing my time

    Went for blood test with my mother today 7th March 2024 at St James Health Centre the nurses seemed lovely enough and friendly, I told the nurse that I had my own plasters as I really dislike when they put that white medical tape over the cotton wool after taking blood, her response was " I've got plasters and there better than the ones I have" I didn't respond to that, but I thought in my mind are you insulting my plasters ? After our bloods were taken we decided to go and get coffee & cake at John Lewis,mum then tells me the nurse put cotton wool and that white medical tape, after I told her I had my own plasters, what was she implying ? She was laughing and joking with one face and her actions were completely different. That nurse fell at the last hurdle, hence two stars So that was our experience.

    I completed the e-consultation for my son in the morning. I've got a call a few hours after : doctor can see him today and we got the appointment. We were there in time and we needed to wait almost 30 minutes, then the doctor called us in the room. I explained him what's the problem. He writen down everything...i said he have hearing problem and he wrote "No hearing" problem. He wrote also he is "well, active, playful, happy kid, good skin colour". My son was almost sleeping infront of him because of his fever! When i said he can not keep Calpol down, when he drink it, in a few minutes time he throw out everything from his stomach, then the doctor explained to me how i need to give him to drink it. There is no problem with drinking it. The problem is to keep it down! he doesn't have any problem with nurofen for example. And he wrote down again "try Calpol" Why??? To make him suffer more? I am not worrying enough about him? Or cleaning enough?

    First impressions after switching surgery great service provided in all medical issues for example blood test spot on if needed,medical check and follow up are carried out professionally.

    Today I had my cervical screening. It wasn't my first time. The nurse that did it wasn't very good when taking the sample. She was doing it very fast and I had to keep telling her to stop and slow down. She poked and prodded me in a very violent way. She mentioned that my womb was very far away hence she needed to go deeper. The first time she poked the stick straight in without any prior notice. I did jump in pain. The second time she rushed and pushed in the instrument used to open me up wider. I again had to ask her to slow down and stop. The third time she tried again this time listening to what I requested and slowly took the sample required. I asked why are you rushing. She mentioned something along the lines "I wasn't given any notice that I'd be doing the screening" also she informed that she "has 15 minutes to complete the session from the time she calls me". She called me 15 mins later than my appointment time hence she could have been rushing. Once the screening had been completed I was very sore and in lots of pain. I have been bleeding / spotting since the procedure. This has never happened to me before with my other cervical screenings. I do hope no one else has to ever go through the same traumatising episode like me!

    I saw practice nurse for high blood pressure and a chest infection, I got the feeling she was very angry with me and told me to buy my own blood pressure monitor and do it myself at home,I dont think I ever want to ho back there, but if I need to will deffo ask not to see this person again.the rest of the staff were very nice.
