    Booked in via an online triage and got seen within two weeks in person. The staff were kind and the diagnosis was quick and effective.

    I have just discovered that I missed a call today as I received a text to say so. I was not aware that I had a call booked and I was at work and teaching when they tried to call so my phone was on silent. How can I be expected to take a call when I have not now notified about not have had an opportunity to say whether the time and date is suitable for me?

We completely understand how frustrating it must be to receive a call you weren’t aware had been scheduled, especially when you’re at work and unable to answer. You’re absolutely right that patients should be notified in advance and given the opportunity to confirm whether the timing is suitable. We apologise that this didn’t happen in your case.     Saw a doctor who really took time over examination so I felt reassured and not rushed. The old St James surgery has been demolished and no sign of the new one despite the building being finished. So 'temporarily' located at the firs. In the absence of any updates this looks like the usual empty promises and being kept in the dark.

    I didn't expect that when I went to my GP, the doctor would tell me, "There's nothing else I can do to help you."this is not professional. I asked her if she could refer me to an orthopedic surgeon because my back hurts. She told me that I should call the hospital where they gave me the injections and to chase them for appointment someone to see me

We understand how frustrating and painful it can be to live with ongoing back issues and you should feel supported when seeking further help. While there may be instances where patients are directed to follow up with hospital teams directly, this should always be communicated clearly and respectfully, with a full explanation of why that advice is being given.     Easy contact application and I was called back quicklu by the doctor after they had text to say I would receive a call. the doctor listened and was very helpful prescribing me the appropriate medication for my issue
