  1. Review titled Worst gp ever

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 10 May 2025

We have been with this gp for over 10 years but the service is so bad. My mum had an operation 2 years ago and has had no aftercare because they don’t check their emails from the hospital every time she’s given a prescription it takes months to get through to the gp. She had a prescription sent in February and now it’s may and we still haven’t received it because the booking system is so bad they’ll make you wait weeks for appointments and then cancel or make her wait 20 mins to get seen for her appointment but then doctor won’t see her if she’s 2 mins late???

  2. Review titled Unreliable

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Keith Waterhouse - Posted on 18 May 2025

I am a diabetic cardio patient who has died twice as a result of two heart attacks in twelve minutes. On 8th May I managed to get to see a gp despite mobi;ity problems and breathlesness. I discussed my heart medication with the gp along with one other matter. I pointed out that I had no bisoprolol which I I need to stop a heart attack. I was promised my pharmacy would get a repeat prescription . I was sent instead insulin which I did not order and co dydramol which I did not order along with other otems I ordered but no bisoprolol. I contacted the surgery and was told it was in hand and I would get it. I am still waiting either for the tablets or a heart attack. This surgery has failed me in the past and gives me the impresssion they dont understand that duty of care is a statutory requirement. It is binding on us all as we have a duty of care towards each other; why am I stilll waiting for bisoprolol?

  3. Review titled Really quick turnaround for vaccine appointments

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Alex - Posted on 12 May 2025

The GP quickly provided my vaccination record within 5 minutes of requesting. Got a travel vaccine appointment booked within three working days and at short notice which was really helpful. The nurse was very friendly and knowledgeable. The practice have previously been proactive in offering vaccinations I may benefit from.

  4. Review titled An absoliute disgrace

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Keith Waterhouse - Posted on 11 April 2025

I had triple by pass surgery and died twice last year, I have district nurses visitme evry day to change a dressing on my chest. On 8th April I requested my diuretic and blood thinner drugs and other medication which my local pharmacy delivers. Today is 72 hours since the request and nothing has happened. I spoke to one of the reception staff on the telephone who said the order had not been okayed by a GP or a clinician. I asked for the name of the GP so I could complain; request denied. I ask for the name of the clinician so I could complain;request denied. I was most unhappy as I have no tablets for the weekend, either diuretic or blood thinner. My pharamacy makes no deliveries at thr weekend . I am now in danger of being taken to hospital. When are the GP,s the clinician and other staff going to realise that they are in thecaring profession? Start caring now.

  5. Review titled Poor approaching

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by BASIRU OLAMIDE BELLO - Posted on 07 January 2025

One of the receptionist at the practice, Asia woman precisely, she is so rude in approaching me, the way she talks to me is not politely. She does this often and I think she can adjust the way she communicate and be professional. Kind regards!

  6. Review titled Great GP but admin system failures causing significant stress

by Anonymous - Posted on 15 January 2025

I very much appreciate the good care I have received from my GP and would highly recommend him but the failure of the admin systems at this surgery are adding a considerable amount of stress to managing my various health conditions, to the extent that it is impacting my mental health and i am putting off making necessary appointments because I can't face the stress of it. It has taken me weeks to get a prescription purely because it was mistakenly taken off my repeats. Over that time, I visited reception several times in person and made multiple phonecalls. Each time I was either told it had been resolved for me and the request made, only to discover it hadn't, or that I'd need to come back/call back another time, or that I needed a medication review even though I'd just had one, or that the previous person shouldn't have said I could have it and I'd have to book a GP appointment to talk about it, when I had run out of my medication. As their online system was down this was impossible as by the time you got through on the phone all appointments were gone. When I was finally issued my prescription I was told that it has also been added back onto my repeats so I wouldn't have to worry next time. It has not been. When I contacted to ask if it could please be added to my repeats, as promised, so I won't have to do this all again next time, I was just told that my prescription had been issued, which isn't even what I had asked. This is just one example out of many. Even without these issues, as a neurodivergent person it is hard to manage my medications and appointments, with these issues, it is impacting my mental health and also my work life, as I am having to spend so much of my working day calling, visiting, making unnecessary appointments on top of the ones I actually need etc. I am so very grateful for the NHS, I really am, and I know everyone is working under immense pressure after successive governments have failed them but I am really struggling with this and I can't imagine how much harder it is for someone else with greater accessibility needs than my own.

  7. Review titled Excellent service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Madeline T - Posted on 18 December 2024

I was seen on the 10th/12/24. I walked in, the receptionist who served me was extremely polite and helpful. The GP who saw me was extremely... patient, supportive, and kind, etc. She examined, and explained to my understanding. I left the surgery very satisfied 😌 the receptionist, on seeing my condition, even though I got there after 10am, squeezed me in for an emergency.🫶

  8. Review titled Terrible service

by Anonymous - Posted on 08 October 2024

Took weeks to get a phone appointment. Booked in for an in person appointment, and due to the nature of the problem specifically requested a female GP. Got there 5 minutes early and the appointment was 40 minutes late. I got in the room and I had been assigned a male GP. He then told me he could not help me and that I should go to a sexual health clinic (for a non sexual health problem) - complete and utter waste of my time, no sympathy. Someone could have told me that on the phone appointment and saved taking time off work and a 40 minute delay. Unacceptable care - I will be registering with a new GP.

  9. Review titled Heartless

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Keith Waterhouse - Posted on 23 May 2024

I am a Cardio patient who spent five months in a hospital. I had triple bypass surgery and then died twice for a total of twelve minutes; my kidneys failed and I had to be put on dialysis. For the past two weeks, I have been at home and for the past few days my GP has refused to prescribe painkillers for pain caused by a pump I have to wear which removes bacteria from the sternum and detritus. I have to go to the hospital at St Bart's once a week via patient transport as I am still very weak. The GP is refusing to provide any medication until I am strong enough to have a face-to-face appointment. This will be impossible for a few weeks as I am trying to get stronger. The hospital sent ten sides of notes to this practice with a complete breakdown of my health and needs. Whatever happened to the needs of the patient come first? I must now suffer pain unnecessarily.

  10. Review titled Rude receptionist

Rated 1 star out of 5

The female receptionist is rude and patronising. As someone with depression and anxiety which the receptionist was aware of, the receptionist is insensitive and needs training.
