  1. Review titled Great caring practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

After a pre-op blood test it was noted that my blood sugars were high. The practice nurse immediately saw me and I was given advice re type 2 diabetes. I was unwell on the medication prescribed so one of the drs contacted me and changed the medication to one which I could tolerate. The follow up care has been outstanding.

  2. Review titled Mixed reviews for this practice

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I have had mixed reviews of this practice. Some drs have been very efficient and I couldn’t fault their service and others not as much. I requested a call back for my sick 3 year old son early last Friday as he was running a fever and not producing much urine and no one returned my call or acknowledged my e consult. I will have to call again on Monday to chase this up or if he is no better or go to A&E

We are sorry to read this review, as we always prioritise young children in our practice , we never refuse to see children who are unwell and we always do our best to offer them an appointment on the same day. On Friday before the review was posted, we had couple of children on the appointment list that came in and saw the GP. Unfortunately, we are unable to identify your son as the review has been posted anonymously. Please phone the practice and ask to speak to Practice Manager and we will be happy to look into this for you. Please also note, that online system called PATCHS is not for urgent appointments as you would get a response from the team within 48 hours and when you submit an online consultation on Friday you might not get a response until Monday.
