  1. Review titled Excellent Gp

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Triage system works really well. I work full time and have two small kids so it's not easy for me to call in, the online system works good for me. The GP was very nice and thorough, and explained different options for my issue. Really pleased with the practice. There was a wait for my appointment but it was towards the end of the day so you expect that anyway. I was warned when checking in.

  2. Review titled Good booking system, lovely GP

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Great booking system, you still have to fill out the form early but it's a lot less stressful than ringing at 8am. My issue was not urgent but I was still given an appointment the next day and the GP was lovely, very reassuring but not dismissive.

  4. Review titled Asthma review with practice nurse

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 03 June 2025

Experience has always been positive at Sloan MC. This week my son had an asthma review with the practice nurse. She was friendly and helpful, however in my opinion she was unprofessional with regard to the spacer we brought in. She appeared to find it funny and proceeded to laugh on more than one occasion about the fact my son was still using a ‘baby’ spacer to administer his inhalers. We have not been told otherwise and the spacer works fine. The main problem is both myself and my son felt uncomfortable with the laughing and comments ‘what are you still using that for, it’s for babies’. We felt silly and although I don’t think it was intended on the nurses part to ridicule us, it came across that way. My son (age 11) commented that he felt stupid when she mentioned the spacer. I think it is important we feed this back so that in future professionals can be less judgmental in tone and choice of words.

  5. Review titled Dr I saw was excellent.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had been very poorly overnight and needed medical attention fast. I used the email form and was triaged very quickly. I know we often have a long wait to get an appointment but I was reassured that when it's serious, you do get seen fast. The young Dr was so caring and an excellent listener. I felt comfortable telling him my symptoms which is rare for me. Some GPs in the past have made me clam up and just want to go home. He explained the referral process and sent me links to other help I could access. An elderly neighbour of mine saw the same Dr just before me and I was impressed with how he kindly assisted her to the consultation room. I hope he stays.

  6. Review titled Empathetic care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have recently attended the practice for symptoms related to perimenopause and have been extremely reassured by the practical and understanding care I have received. First tests to rule out other issues, and then prescriptions to address my symptoms, which are already having an impact.

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Visited the surgery for a PT appointment. I felt I was listened to, that my opinion mattered and my concerns validated. Went through all my options together and was referred onto the best option for me. Thank you for listening

  9. Review titled Thorough examination

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was impressed by the physio’s knowledge and ability to diagnose my hip flexer issue. He was really down to earth and warm in his manner, putting me at ease immediately. Lots of questions were put to me regarding my injury followed by a series of stretching exercises in order to get a full picture of the source of the problem. I was very impressed with how thorough and meticulous the physio was throughout the session and found him incredibly helpful and reassuring. Thank you.
