    My husband had an emergency appointment after becoming short of breath following bypass surgery 6 days previously. No home visit. Had to get him dressed and into the car and to the surgery where he had to endure an hour long wait past his appointment time. Fading with every minute under the stress and effort to remain seated without falling to the floor. Twice we were told by Reception that he was the next to be seen and yet 3 more people were seen by the Doctor before us. By this time my husband was on the point of collapse and could hardly walk to the doctors room. He was refered to A&E with a heartbeat of over 145-160. Shocked beyond belief that a man in such a compromised position could be left sitting for over an hour when they knew the reason for his visit after speaking to a Doctor earlier in the day. I could write more but I am so angry.

    I keep being sidelined for appointments all the time and I badly need them due to ongoing health problems. They keep getting cancelled and not rescheduled. My future of being able to get back to work depends greatly on seeing a GP which I am unable to do.

    Dear Mr Dundee I am sorry if we have had to cancel your appointment, this does occasionally happen, though we usually do offer an alternative.     Kindly informative staff 99% of the time. I have incurable lupus, MS, Atiphodpholipid Antibody Syndrome, Sjrogens Syndrome, Graves’ disease, -a lot of connective tissue diseases. The surgery are empathetic and helpful. I generally feel fortunate.

    Since coming out of hospital, i have needed daily dressings on the wound, these have been done by well mannered, caring staff, the reception team have been very supportive in arranging all the appointments. The nurses have been superb and very caring with the wound site and explaining to me about the procedures involved. A credit to the surgery

    I was Contacted by text and by telephone. After a couple of attempts I managed to get through to make an appointment for a check up. I arrived 10 minutes early for the appointment and was called in by the nurse exactly on time. She set about preparing things and explained what she was going to do and what to expect. I was offered and received a Pneumonia vaccination in addition to the check up. I asked her about one or two other issues and she answered my questions as she went along. I was relaxed and did not feel rushed at all leaving after about 15 minutes.

    Staff very well mannered and understanding very careful with the patient treatment is required very carefully to understand diagnosis sometimes hard to take in but it eventually becomes clear

    The Doctor was very caring explained my symptoms and the treatment and tests that I'm to receive. I felt relieved that I was getting help. Couldn't ask for more.

    I had a blood test on a Wednesday, the doctor called me with the result on Thursday and I was referred to and saw a Consultant team a week later. The service was brilliant throughout.
