After a short hold I spoke to GP staff who booked a GP appointment in a weeks time. The kind nurse previously had taken my health measurements so this was a follow-up to reassure me with other concerns that I had The locum GP was thorough and I felt safe and assured. Thank you

Service provided has been unbelievable. I am 70 in a few months and have been give a full review/ MOT Staff have explained everything in great detail with emotional intelligence.

Most recently I rang because I wasn’t at all well. I spoke to the receptionist and answered her questions. Within the hour the doctor called me. After discussing my symptoms, he said I had a 4/5 day virus. The next day, which was the 5th day, it had gone and I felt well again

I’m 91 years old and reception girls are fantastic very friendly make sure I understand everything . I’m new to this practice but my daughter and her family praise the staff .

I was contacted to say my medication needed to be reviewed as I had been prescribed for a set period of time. This was for a telephone review which I thought was a reasonable choice as I had nothing that needed to be seen by the GP and I was happy to do this . My only complaint regarding this was the call window was 2.30 pm - 6.00 for the call. This I felt was in acceptable . Whilst I appreciate within a surgery an exact time maybe difficult but a window of an hour would be suitably flexible. It is clearly essential for me to be able to take a private call in an appropriate venue enabling a successful call. Taking out 4 hrs of my time is unacceptable. If I was to have had a face to face it would have been an hour at the most. Having said that I did manage to be in a place appropriate and heard the call. The GP was approachable ,knowledgeable about my care and about the treatment. He ensured my thoughts were heard and that I understood what he was proposing re my care. I was very happy with the outcome of the actual consultation . The service I have had from all aspects of the surgery ( phone consultation hrs being only area of concern) has been exellent.

I presented at practice with ongoing & increasing discomfirt in my left lung front & rear. I have severe acid reflux & in Oct 2023 had a gastroscopy when biopsies were taken. Since then, discomfort has increased. GP examined me, then referred me for xray, ECG & ultra sound scan, for which I am awaiting appointments. Very pleased with response & treatment from this wonderful practice.

The appointment was prompt, the consultation was clear and the advice was well received. The whole experience was wonderful and left me feeling extremely reassured. All staff, including medical and administrative, were very professional and I cannot recommend Rutherford Medical Centre more highly.

The practice seems to run very efficiently. The staff I have dealt with have all been very helpful and understanding and have directed me to either a telephone appointment or a personal consultation. Using the on line repeat prescription works very well and saves time.

The reason for my appointment was that I had a few questions about my prescribed medication and about some other tests. The doctor who saw me was very good. They listened closely to my questions and when I finished they answered each one. They were very helpful and looked into whether there was anything of concern. I was reassured by their manner and went away feeling happy with my treatment.
